    摘要： A display carrier is described having improved retaining tabs. In one embodiment, the carrier includes snap acting retaining tabs connected to a partition wall at end edges thereof. For receiving glassware the snap acting retaining tabs are generally planar with the partition wall. To retain glassware once in place each snap acting retaining tab is rotated out of the plane of the partition wall to reversibly engage the glassware. In this position, outward movement of the glassware within the sleeve is restricted.The carrier also includes a partition wall with opposed tab-receiving recesses. A slotted tab is associated with each recess via a hinged connection to the edge of a respective top or bottom wall. In its operative position, each slotted tab is at an angle to its wall and abuts an associated recess in a reversible locking engagement. Each recess includes a lip portion projecting outwardly from within the recess. Each lip portion extends through the slotted portion of a respective tab to secure the tab in place. With the tab thus inclined to the plane of its panel and secured by the recess, outward movement of the glassware within the sleeve is further restricted.In another aspect of the invention, the display carrier is formed from a unitary, planar cardboard blank which is die cut and creased to form all the various panels and tabs of the carrier. The blank is folded and bonded to form a carrier sleeve which may be stored flat and subsequently erected to form a display carrier.

The carton is in the form of an open ended sleeve having a divider panel providing adjacent sections for receiving the cylindrical objects, and folding tab members interengaged with the divider panel to retain the objects within the open ends while providing maximum visible exposure of the objects at the carton sides and ends. Tabs in the top and bottom panels of the carton provide finger holes for carrying the carton and extend into the carton transverse to the divider panel and between adjacent objects in the direction between the open ends of the sleeve.

    摘要： A wraparound type carrier package for a group of bottles arranged in row relation and transversely aligned pairs, which carrier is especially adapted for use in the marketing of bottled beverages, wherein the bottles are designed to be returned to the store or bottling plant for reuse or recycling, the package being formed from a flat blank of paperboard or similar foldable sheet material which is cut and scored so that it may be wrapped in the form of an open ended tube about the top and bottom of two rows of bottles in transversely aligned relation with the end margins of the end panels of the blank having co-operating, interengaging locking elements and having means for restraining top and bottom portions of the endmost bottles against movement out of the ends of the tube. A handle structure is provided by a pair of panels which are cut from the center of the material in the top wall forming panel and folded down about a common, transverse fold line into a generally vertical plane, leaving apertures in the top wall forming areas adjoining the handle structure through which bottles in these areas may be removed without otherwise disturbing the package.

    摘要： A multiple article carrier production blank designed to be formed into a multiple article carrier of the type containing a plurality of similar and/or different articles is disclosed. The blank may be formed into the multiple article carrier and contains means for forming a stop means in the form of a raised panel out of the side panel and the bottom panel. Formed above the raised panel in the top panel are means for providing an opening in the top panel so that an article can be inserted through the opening to rest on the raised panel formed in the bottom of the carrier. The carrier thus formed may be utilized for packaging at least five articles of a like nature such as oil cans in combination with a sixth article that may be either similar or dissimilar such as another oil can or an oil filter. The opening formed in the top panel in combination with the raised bottom panel allows various size oil filters to be placed in the carrier at the retail store. The raised panel, in combination with tab retainers, assures a tight fit of cans in the raised cell portion of the carrier. The stop means may also be formed out of tabs turned out of the bottom of the carrier. Also disclosed is a new and novel method for packaging a plurality of articles in the multiple cell carrier which allows the customer to select the article to be placed in the raised center cell of the carrier.
