摘要： The guardrail assembly includes at least one tubular metal stanchion, having a base and an extendable/retractable setscrew, and at least a horizontal top rail. The horizontal top rail has an inner metal pipe, an outer plastic pipe, and at least one aperture for receiving the metal stanchion. Prior to assemblage, the setscrew is retracted inside the tubular stanchion. Prior to insertion of the stanchion into the aperture, at least one tubular plastic sheath, having a first end conforming with the base of the stanchion and a second end conforming with the top horizontal rail, is slipped onto the tubular metal stanchion. Following placement of the top horizontal rail atop the stanchion, the sheath rests on the base of the stanchion and engages the top horizontal rail. The top of the stanchion or the sheath are capable of supporting the top horizontal rail. The top horizontal rail is locked in position atop the stanchion by extension of the setscrew. Disassemblage of the guardrail assembly is facilitated by the easily retracted setscrew.

摘要： The present invention provides a cart corral assembly of the type employed by stores, such as grocery stores, to encourage the consumer to temporarily store grocery carts in the parking lot before bringing the cart within the store structure. The cart corral includes a first set of two spaced apart vertical rails in a base support extended between these rails. The base support supports the vertical rails in an upright position. At least two spaced apart horizontal rails are provided and are removably engaged with the vertical rails in a position abut above the base support. The horizontal rails form an obtuse angle with the vertical rails. A second set of two spaced apart vertical rails are provided opposite the first set of vertical rails and are removably engaged with the horizontal rails. A second base support extends between the second set of vertical rails and supports the vertical rails in an upright position. Removable and replaceable polymerized sheathing surrounds each of the vertical and horizontal rails. The polymerized sheathing has an inner diameter equal to or greater than the outer diameter of the vertical and horizontal rails. Removable slip-on structural fittings are provided for removably connecting the vertical and horizontal rails to each other.

摘要： A combined sleeve having an open bottom which fits over a post or other vertical member includes an integrated message panel formed in the upped end when installed. The combined sleeve and sign holder according to the invention is preferably made of synthetic/polymeric material such as polyethylene, polypropylene, vinyl, or any other sufficiently durable material, using any suitable process, including an injection mold, blow mold, or rotational-type mold. Depending upon the process used, the article may be fabricated as a unitary structure, or components may be joined through any suitable form of attachment process, including the use of adhesives and/or welding. The message may be supported to the sleeve in a variety of ways, depending upon the need for interchangeability vs. permanence. In the preferred embodiment, the signage is fully integrated into the upped end through the use of decals, which are included in the mold and integrally formed with the article during the molding process. In alternative embodiments a sign holder may be provided, enabling a changeable message to be loaded either from the front, or back, or both. A transparent forward panel may also be included to protect the signage.

The hand rail assembly includes at least two spaced apart vertical rails, two base supports for supporting the vertical rails in an upright position and at least two spaced apart horizontal rails removably engaged with the vertical rails and positioned above the base supports. Each rail is surrounded by removable and replaceable polymerized sheathing having an interior diameter equal to or greater than the outer diameter of the rail.
