    摘要: One aspect relates to a frameless glass fencing hinge (10) for a frameless glass fencing installation a first leaf assembly (12) for operative attachment to a first glass panel or building structure. The frameless glass fencing hinge (10) includes a second leaf assembly (14) for operative attachment to a second glass panel. The second leaf assembly (14) is operatively adapted to undergo pivotal movement about a hinge axis (16) so as to move the second glass panel between a closed position an open position. The first leaf assembly (12) and the second leaf assembly (14) define a cam formation (16) operatively adapted to cause the second leaf assembly (14) to undergo axial movement along the hinge axis (16) between a rest position and a biased position when the second leaf (14) assembly undergoes pivotal movement about the hinge axis (16).

    摘要: An adapting sleeve has a main body segment, a rod passage, a tightening recess, and an abutting wall segment. The main body segment is adapted to be mounted in a tube segment of a fence door. The rod passage is formed through the main body segment for connecting a width adjusting rod of the fence door. The tightening recess is formed on an outer surface of the main body segment for connecting a tightening unit of the fence door. The abutting wall segment is located between the tightening recess and the rod passage. A thickness of the abutting wall segment is larger than a gap between the width adjusting rod and an inner surface of the rod passage. A material hardness of the abutting wall segment is lower than that of the width adjusting rod. The tightening unit abuts the width adjusting rod via the abutting wall segment.

    摘要: The fence system attaches to an aluminum or steel rectangular base post in concrete or the ground. The inside wall of a fence column slides over the base post. The fence column also has an outside wall around the inside wall. Each of three side of the fence column has an elongated slot, which receives one end of a slat. A bracket may secure the slat to the fence column. The fence system also has a gate of the same style as the rest of the fence. A lockset housing replaces one fence column. It receives slats on one side, and the lockset's latch projects from the other side. A hollow post has a slot facing the latch when the gate is closed. A latch cover is held by the slot, and an extension of the latch cover extends along the lockset housing to block surreptitious opening the gate.

    摘要: A core layer which is suitable for a multilayer composite which has at least one surface layer and one core layer, wherein the surface layer is arranged so as to at least partially cover the core layer and be fixedly connected thereto, wherein the core layer has elements composed of wood, which elements have plate-like regions which are arranged in zig-zag-shaped fashion, wherein a plate-like zig region of an element with an adjoining plate-like zag region of the element form a common edge between them, in such a way that the wood element of zig-zag-shaped form is formed, wherein elements of zig-zag-shaped form are arranged in the core layer such that two such edges of two different elements cross one another at a non-zero angle, and wherein the two elements are fixedly connected to one another at the crossing point. In one embodiment, a wood element of zig-zag-shaped form may be adhesively bonded to a planar wood element, in such a way that a wood element of zig-zag-shaped form is surrounded by two planar wood elements in sandwich-like fashion; or two wood elements of zig-zag-shaped form surround a planar wood element in sandwich-like fashion.
