Abstract: An audio jack includes a rectangular housing including a body including a rear first compartment and a hole extended from a front face to the first compartment, and an insulate plate secured to a top of the body; a plurality of contacts provided in the housing and including first, second, third, fourth, and fifth contacts each including a flexible portion and an upright solder portion; a light emitting element provided in the first compartment and aligned with the hole and including legs inserted through the first compartment; and a shell secured onto the housing. Inserting a first plug into the hole until the contact assembly is electrically connected with the plug will effect an analog signal transmission. Inserting a second plug into the hole until its head is electrically connected with the light emitting element will effect a digital signal transmission. The plate together with the shell can provide a double shield.

Abstract: A RF coaxial connector has an insulative housing, an internal terminal and an external terminal. The insulative housing has a cavity. The internal terminal is mounted in the cavity and has a mounting section, two resilient arms protruding from the mounting section, a free section formed between the resilient arms and a contacting section protruding from the free section. The external terminal is mounted on the insulative housing. The internal terminal provides sufficient resistance force against a pin conductor of a corresponding connector engaged with the RF coaxial connector for stable signal transmission.

Abstract: An audio jack connector has an insulative housing and a plurality of conductive terminals mounted in the housing. The housing includes a body, a mating head and an insertion hole, wherein the body has a rear wall, two opposite sidewalls, a top wall and a bottom wall. A plurality of terminal slots and notches is only defined through the bottom wall, keeping other walls of the housing from forming any opening against the entry of the moisture and dust. The mating head is mounted on the body opposite to the rear wall. The insertion hole is defined through the mating head, extends into the body and communicates each terminal slot. Each notch is parallel to one another and communicates a corresponding terminal slot. Each conductive terminal has a base portion, a mounting portion, a connection portion, a contacting portion and a resilient portion.

Abstract: An audio jack including an insulative housing, conductive terminals and a shielding shell is provided. Stripped protrusions are disposed on the two side surfaces of the insulative housing. Trenches are disposed on the two side surfaces of the insulative housing. A notch is formed on each side surface of the shielding shell, and a depressed protrusion is disposed on each side surface of the shielding shell. At least two pins are disposed on each side surface, and between the pins a U-shaped hook is formed by bending inward. A back wing is coplanar with the top surface of the shielding shell and is bent along the top surface to form a back cover.
