According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for performing a PT (Push-To) service setting procedure, includes transmitting PT service setting information of a PT client to a PT server during a PT service setting procedure, the PT service setting information including answer mode setting information and privacy information, the answer mode setting information indicating if an answer mode of the PT client is an automatic answer mode or a manual answer mode, the privacy information indicating whether or not an identity of the PT client is to be kept private in the answer mode; and storing the PT service setting information of the PT client in the PT server, whereby the PT server can selectively inform identification information of the PT client to another PT client based on the privacy information.

The message delivery method may include determining whether to reject a CPM message based on the access policy if the CPM message is received; checking a user preference of a target terminal to determine processing of the CPM message if it is determined that the CPM message is not rejected; determining whether to reject, defer or store the CPM message based on the user preference if the target terminal is not registered or in an unreceivable state; storing the CPM message in a queue if it is determined that a transmission of the CPM message is deferred; determining whether to discard or store the CPM message based on the user preference if a timer for the CPM message is expired; requesting to store the message to a message storage server if it is determined to be stored; receiving a response message including information on the stored message from the message storage server; and transmitting a message including the information on the store message to the terminal.

摘要： Disclosed is a method and apparatus for determining a controlling PT server. A mobile communication terminal transmits a group generation request message to a PT XDMS, and the PT XDMS determines a specific PT server having the largest number of members as a controlling PT server. The PT XDMS generates group identity information by using an address of the specific PT server, and transmits a group generation response message including the group identity information to the mobile communication terminal. Then, the mobile communication terminal transmits the group identity information of the group generation response message to a PT server with being included in an INVITE message. The PT server certifies the group identity information included in the INVITE message, and determines whether or not itself is to be operated as a controlling PT server.
