    摘要: A bearing device equipped with a resin-made pulley has, at one axial end portion of an outer ring, cutout portions which are formed so as to be opened on their outward side of the axial direction and spaced from one another at a specified interval in a circumferential direction of the outer ring. Each cutout portion has a rectangular-shaped sloped surface which is sloped radially outward of the outer ring along an axial direction from an opening-side end to the center of the outer ring so as to adjoin the cylindrical surface portion on the axially opposite side to the opening. Each cutout portion further has side faces which are generally parallel to a vertical bisector plane of the sloped surface containing a center axis of the outer ring on circumferential both sides of the sloped surface in a cross section perpendicular to the center axis of the outer ring.

    摘要: A seal assembly interposed annularly between the inner and outer rings of a bearing assembly to seal an annular cavity formed between the inner and outer rings of the bearing assembly, the seal assembly having an annular seal member fitted onto the inner peripheral surface of the outer ring, a first annular seal lip, and a second annular seal lip, the first annular seal lip being in elastic-contact with the sidewall of an annular groove formed in the inner peripheral surface of the inner ring. The first annular seal lip has a radial length and an axial thickness satisfying a ratio (A/B) of the radial length (A) to the axial thickness (B), the ratio (A/B) being in the range of not less than 4.5 and not more than 7.0 to obtain a moderate rigidity capable of following the relative movement of the inner and outer rings. Communicating grooves are formed in the lower end portion of the first annular seal lip for communicating between the inside and outside of the bearing assembly, in order to prevent an increase in pressure within the bearing assembly because of a rise in temperature within the bearing assembly.
