    Abstract: An orbital tensile drive is herein disclosed, along with systems and methods associated therewith. The orbital tensile drive uses a tensile element that is conveyed around a static, fixed shaft and a rotating output shaft. This is facilitated via multiple orbiting idler pulleys that are mounted to an orbiter body. The static and rotating shafts, as well as the orbiting assembly, share a common axis. Input rotation to the orbiter body is transformed into lower-speed, higher-torque rotation at the rotating output shaft. The present invention has many potential applications including, but not limited to, robotics.

    Abstract: Described is a generator for an engine-driven power system. The generator having a generator shaft, a sleeve coupler, a first pulley, and a second pulley. The generator shaft, which is shaped at an end to define a first tapered surface, rotates a rotor relative to a stator. The sleeve coupler is shaped to define a bore with a second tapered surface. The bore receives the end of the generator shaft. The first pulley has a center hole to receive the sleeve coupler. The second pulley shares an axis of rotation with the first pulley and transfers a rotational force to the generator shaft and to the sleeve coupler.

    Abstract: A pulley device configured to support a belt of a chain tensioning idler or runner roller includes a bearing having a rotatable outer ring and a coaxial fixed inner ring and a pulley having at least one C-shaped pulley part that has an inner portion with an inner surface mounted on an outer cylindrical surface of the bearing outer ring, an outer cylindrical portion having an outer cylindrical surface configured to contact the belt or the chain, and a radial intermediate portion between axial outer ends of the inner and outer cylindrical portions and an axial outer end of the outer cylindrical portion, wherein a ratio between a radial material thickness of the outer cylindrical portion and a radial material thickness of the inner cylindrical portion is strictly greater than 1.

    Abstract: A Pulley device for a tensioning or winding roller for a transmission element including a pulley, and a rolling bearing provided with a rotating outer ring, the pulley being mounted on an outer surface of the outer ring, a fixed inner ring, the rings being coaxial and forming a radial space between them, and at least one row of rolling elements arranged in the radial space. The pulley device further includes at least one annular protection flange with a radial body. The flange is fixed to the rotating outer ring by crimping an axially protruding portion of the pulley towards an outer edge of the flange.

    Abstract: A freely running sheave of a belt drive is supported on an angularly adjustable spindle for adjusting the angular orientation of the freely running sheave. The angular orientation of a spindle is changeable by a first wedge-shaped element and a second wedge-shaped element which each include a surface enclosing an acute angle relative to an orthogonal with respect to a longitudinal axis of the spindle. The wedge-shaped elements are flattened on opposite outer peripheral surfaces such that an open-end wrench can in each case be engaged therewith.
