Abstract:
Disclosed is a session control method in a Converged Internet Protocol (IP) Messaging (CPM) server for supporting a CPM session between a first client subscribing to a CPM service and a second client not subscribing to the CPM service, the session control method includes, after the CPM session is initiated between the first and second clients through the CPM server and an Interworking Function (IWF), receiving a session modification request message including specific media from the first client; sending the session modification request message including the specific media to the IWF through the initiated CPM session; and receiving a response message from the IWF, the response message including a reason for a rejection of the session modification request message including the specific media.
Abstract:
A mechanism to enable multiple message threads management in the context of the Converged IP Messaging (CPM) service and in the context of CPM inter-working with SMS is provided. A CPM user can simply start a message-based conversation with another CPM or Short Message Service (SMS) user without explicitly establishing a session beforehand. All messages that belong to a given conversation are displayed in the corresponding conversational view (i.e. window) in the CPM user device, even if the conversation is stopped and restarted at a later time, and even if there are multiple message threads available (currently active or stored) in the CPM device. Message structures and behavior of the CPM system elements to enable the functionalities above as well as a mechanism makes the message threads management possible even between a CPM user and an SMS user are also provided.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for transmitting reminders for deferred message, the method includes requesting, by client, to set reminders for deferred messages to a application sever (AS); setting, by the application sever, reminders comprising information of when to remind, whether to repeat reminder or not, and/or how many times to repeat; monitoring, by the application sever, time of the set reminders in order to notify the Client; and notifying, by the application sever, the reminders to the client once a timer triggers to send a notification.

Abstract:
In a Converged IP Messaging (CPM) service, an arbitrary terminal generates a message based on a user input, and transmits the message to a CPM server. Upon receiving the message, the CPM server requests a presence server to provide presence information corresponding to a recipient of the message. The presence server searches for presence information corresponding to the recipient in response to the request of the CPM server, and transmits the searched presence information to the CPM server. Based on the transmitted presence information, the CPM server decides to perform interworking for the message, decides a type of a messaging service for interworking, and transmits the message to an Interworking Function (IWF) according to the decided type of the messaging service. The IWF receives the message, converts the message according to the decided messaging service, and transmits the converted message to the recipient.
Abstract:
A method is provided for sending an Instant Message Disposition Notification (IMDN) request to a receiving terminal by a sending terminal in a Converged-IP Messaging (CPM) service. The sending terminal generates an instant message to be sent to the receiving terminal, inserts an IMDN request message into the generated instant message, the IMDN request message including a predetermined response limit time, and sends the instant message with the IMDN request message to the receiving terminal through a CPM server.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a single wire communication system for communicating between integrated circuits. The single wire communication system comprises an upper control device generating control commands, a to-be-controlled chip operating with the control commands, and a single wire communication module transferring the control commands. The single wire communication module processes the control commands from the upper control device with the control commands separated into a start signal, a data signal, an end signal, ans an ack signal, converts them to at least one or more bits of data bits, and the transfers them to the to-be-controlled chip. By doing so, the present invention can transfer the control commands from the upper control device to the to-be-controlled chip without any loss or distortion caused from unstable factors such as noises, and enables high speed process of a number of commands.
Abstract:
A method is provided for receiving a session history by a Controlling Function (CF) in a communication system. The method includes sending, by a CF in a first domain, a first message requesting a session history to a Conversation Server (CS) in the first domain; receiving, from the CS in the first domain, a second message including access information to a CS in a second domain, which has a session history, when the CS in the first domain has no session history; sending a third message requesting a session history to the CS in the second domain, which has the session history, based on the access information; and receiving a fourth message including the session history from the CS in the second domain.
