Abstract:
The present invention relates to a color-changing lighting system for use in connection with lounger or reclined chairs commonly used to furnish home offices, libraries, family rooms, living rooms, dens, and the like, wherein the lighting system is operatively connected to different sections of the chair for selectively changing the color of the emitted light as desired in order to provide the particular room, within which the furniture is located, with a selectively desirable ambiance or environment. The system comprises a plurality of RGB LEDs located at strategic locations upon the chair, a control box, and a mobile or remote controller for communicating with the control box in order to selectively command the control box to issue voltage signals to the various RGB LEDs so as to achieve desired resulting colors.
Abstract:
A file policy is created for each confidential file in a server computer including a list of events and a corresponding action. The file policies for the confidential files are sent to each client computer in the computer network. A software agent on each client computer detects when an activity occurs that affects one of the confidential files having a file policy. The activity is reported to the server computer and, if the activity matches an event in the policy, the corresponding action is taken. Events include: copying a file, printing, accessing, sending via e-mail, renaming, etc. Actions include: alerting an administrator, temporary blocking the activity or preventing the activity. If the activity is temporarily blocked from occurring, the agent queries the user as to whether the user wishes to request approval, and forwards that requests on to the server computer. If the activity is approved then the software agent removes the temporary block from the user activity and allows the user's activity concerning the confidential file to occur.
Abstract:
A mouse with coordinate and suspension positioning functions, which receives a directional light produced by an external illuminator. A second image sensor receives and converts the directional light into an electrical signal, and accordingly produces a directional image corresponding to the directional light. A second memory stores the directional image. When an image captured by a first image sensor cannot be focused, a processor enables the second image sensor and the second memory in order to analyze the directional image and obtain a rotating angle of the directional light for further fulfilling a coordinate positioning.
Abstract:
A document with indexes is constructed by printing plural pixels and divided into plural areas. Each of the areas has plural indexes respectively consisting of a group of indexing dots to represent an area code corresponding to the area. The indexes and the pixels have different optical reflection features.
Abstract:
A coordinate positioning system with in-the-air positioning function includes an illuminator and an image sensor. The illuminator produces a directional light. The image sensor receives the directional light produced by the illuminator and produces an image corresponding to the directional light to accordingly analyze the image and obtain a rotating angle corresponding to the directional light.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a remote controlled positioning system, a control system and a display device thereof. The remote controlled positioning system includes a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, a backlight source, a plurality of infrared ray (IR) sources and a directional remote controller. The LCD panel includes a plurality of display areas. The plurality of IR sources is disposed behind the LCD panel, wherein the IR sources are correspondingly disposed according to the positions of the display areas to respectively emit infrared rays to pass through the LCD panel. The directional remote control receives the infrared rays emitted by the infrared ray sources to obtain positional information pointed to a position of the LCD panel by the directional remote control.
Abstract:
An aligning structure for an optical actuator is disclosed. The optical actuator includes a main structure, a base and an optical element disposed on the base. The aligning structure includes a bracket and an adjusting element. The bracket has a first extending portion disposed corresponding to a second extending portion of the main structure. The adjusting element connects to the first extending portion and the second extending portion and is capable of adjusting the position of the second extending portion relative to the first extending portion.
Abstract:
A gamma correction method and system, which performs a gamma correction on an n-bit video signal to thus generate a gamma correction value. At first, a first primary index and a first sub-index are obtained by performing an index mapping on a value of the video signal. Next, a first gamma value is obtained by performing a table lookup on the first primary index and the first sub-index. Next, a second primary index and a second sub-index are obtained by performing the index mapping on the first gamma value. Next, multiple thresholds are obtained by performing the table lookup on the second primary index and the second sub-index. Finally, the value of the video signal and the multiple thresholds are compared to accordingly correct the first gamma value and generate the gamma correction value.
Abstract:
A hanging ring apparatus for window shades includes a block type body which has a top surface fastening to an annular hanging ring. Two sets of the hanging ring apparatus may be installed on two ends of an upper rail of a window shade to hang the window shade on an anchor rod mounted onto a selected door or window. Installation is simple. The window shade can be hung securely without dropping.
Abstract:
An optimal correlation matching method for determining track behavior, which applies a video stream having a first image and a second image for locating a motion vector associated with a block of the first image in the second image, wherein each image has a plurality of blocks in rows and columns and each block has a plurality of pixels in rows and columns. The method divides a search window into a plurality of search subdivisions, selects one from the subdivisions as an operating search window, locates a center of a block respectively at all positions of the operating search window such that upon each position of the center located, pixels of the block of the first image in accordance with the operating search window are applied to corresponding pixels of the second image for performing match operation, thereby reducing required number for match operation.
