A method for driving a liquid crystal display adjusts the falling edges of the gate driving signals for reducing image flicker. A first gate driving signal falls from a high level to a first level at the signal falling edge. A second gate driving signal falls from the high level to a second level at the signal falling edge. When the parasitic capacitance of a first pixel is larger than that of a second pixel, the first level is lower than the second level; when the parasitic capacitance of the first pixel is substantially the same as that of the second pixel, the first level is the same as the second level; when the parasitic capacitance of the first pixel is smaller than that of the second pixel, the first level is higher than the second level.

The present invention discloses a light emitting device driver circuit and a method for driving a light emitting device. The circuit comprises: a power stage performing power conversion on an input voltage to supply an output current to one or more light emitting devices; and a control circuit sensing the output current of the power stage to feedback control the power stage accordingly.

For efficiency improvement of a LED display system including a charge pump and a LED connected to either the voltage input terminal or the voltage output terminal of the charge pump, either one or both of two current regulators are enabled according to a voltage detected from the LED, for establishing a driving current for the LED. When the detected voltage is higher than a threshold, the first one of the current sources is enabled sole. When the detected voltage is lower than the threshold, the second one of the current sources is enabled sole, or both the current sources are enabled, or the current sources are alternatively enabled.
Abstract:
A lamp has multiple arms and multiple hinges mounted between two adjacent arms. The hinge has a stationary leaf, multiple pivot assemblies being mounted in the stationary leaf and multiple brackets being respectively connected to the pivot assemblies and two corresponding brackets are attached to each arm. Each pivot assembly has a shaft and a locking nut being mounted on the shaft and selectively engaging a locking hole of each bracket. Since the locking nuts selectively engage the locking holes of the brackets, an angle between the adjacent arms can be adjusted and fixed. Further, two adjacent arms do not influence each other's position, which is convenient for adjusting.

A LED display system includes multiple LEDs, a power converter to produce a supply voltage for the LEDs, and multiple drivers to drive the LEDs. According to the maximum one of the forward voltages of the LEDs, the drivers provides a feedback signal for the supply voltage control, and the feedback signal is amplified or digitized to reduce the voltage drop in the global power line.

The present invention discloses a charge pump down circuit which comprises three capacitors operating in three time phases. In the first time phase, the total of the voltages across the three capacitors is equal to an input voltage; in the second time phase, the voltage across the second capacitor is equal to the voltage across the third capacitor; in the third time phase, the difference between the voltages across the first and the second capacitors is equal to the voltage across the third capacitor, wherein the voltage across the third capacitor is the output voltage of the charge pump down circuit.

The present invention provides an electrical connector and a conducting terminal thereof. Particularly, the present invention provides a conducting terminal having enhanced structural strength in virtue of a lumbar portion and a supporting means. The conducting terminal includes a longitudinal axis and a proximal end, a lumbar portion and a distal end extended along the longitudinal axis, respectively. The proximal end is bent in a waved form so as to provide a an elastically deforming capability. A free end is provided with an engaging surface. The distal end is in a barrel shape. A prop surface is provided near the lumbar portion. The supporting means is protruded from the lumbar portion toward the prop surface. The engaging surface and the lumbar portion have respective normal lines thereof intersecting the longitudinal axis.

A hinge is mounted between a panel and a main frame of a horizontal monitor and has two turning modules, a central bracket, a tilting module and two supporting modules. The turning modules are mounted on the main frame. The central bracket is mounted pivotally between the turning modules. The tilting module is movably mounted to the central bracket. Each supporting module has holding wings abutting each other and connected respectively between the central bracket and the ends of the tilting module. Connection between the central bracket and the tilting module and abutments between the holding wings of the supporting modules form a triple connection between the panel and the main frame so prevent the hinge from sagging.

A control device, which controls a power-converting module that is coupled to a light-emitting component, includes a duration detecting unit and a control signal generator. The duration detecting unit compares the duration of a predetermined logic state of a pulsating input dim control signal with a reference time period. The control signal generator is enabled by the duration detecting unit so as to generate a control signal that enables the power-converting module to generate a drive voltage for driving the light-emitting component when the duration of the predetermined logic state is not longer than the reference time period. The duration detecting unit disables the control signal generator to disable the power-converting module when the duration of the predetermined logic state is longer than the reference time period.
