Abstract:
A loudspeaker includes frame, diaphragm whose outer rim is supported by this frame, voice coil unit connected to this diaphragm, magnetic circuit where voice coil of this voice coil unit is movably disposed in its magnetic gap, and first edge member and second edge member for supporting voice coil unit by frame. Voice coil unit is supported at two points at a predetermined interval to the side of magnetic gap from a part where diaphragm is connected. First edge member and second edge member include heat-resistant connectors that allow air to pass through, and ring edges and made of a resilient material connected to these connectors. Edge of first edge member or edge of second edge member protrudes toward diaphragm and the other edge protrudes toward magnetic circuit.
Abstract:
A speaker including a frame, a diaphragm fixed to the frame through a first edge, a voice coil, a magnetic circuit, and a suspension holder fixed to the frame through a second edge is disclosed. The first and the second edges are spaced apart, and substantially symmetrical in shape with respect to the space between them. The inner periphery of the suspension holder and the inner periphery of the diaphragm are fixed to a part of the voice coil which is located outside of the magnetic gap of the magnetic circuit. The magnetic circuit has a magnet provided outside of the bottom of the frame. The outer periphery of the magnetic extends at least beyond the center of the second edge. The magnetic gap of the magnetic circuit is disposed inside of the frame, above a bottom surface of the frame.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a small-size speaker in which distortion is not easily caused when a diaphragm vertically movers for sound reproduction. The speaker includes: a bottom-equipped cylindrical frame having an opening at the top; a magnetic circuit arranged on the inner bottom of the frame; a voice coil whose coil portion is arranged in a magnetic gap of the magnetic circuit; a diaphragm arranged at the opening of the frame and its inner circumference is fixed to the voice coil while its outer circumference is fixed to the frame via a first edge; and a support body having one end fixed to the side of the diaphragm having the magnetic circuit and the other end fixed to the vicinity of the magnetic circuit via a second edge. The first edge has a shape substantially similar to the shape of the second edge with respect to the boundary between the first edge and the second edge.
Abstract:
Diaphragm (9) has through-hole (10) for fixing a voice coil at its center part, and has a fixing part of edge (12) at its outer periphery whose shape is substantially circular. The shape of the outer periphery of diaphragm (9) is formed as follows: first circle and second circle (9A, 9B) are overlapped each other with their center points (9a, 9b) displaced in such a manner that at least one part of an outer periphery of first circle and second circle (9A, 9B) forms a part of the substantially circular outer periphery of an entire shape. Signal reproduction characteristics can be flattened as much as possible by reducing a resonance level.
Abstract:
A frame is provided with an opening allowing insertion of a jig for setting an inner rim of a suspension holder to a proper position. The jig ensures positive alignment of the suspension holder when making connection to the frame. The jig also ensures reliable bonding of a diaphragm to the suspension holder with a bonding agent, since it steadily supports the suspension holder in position during the bonding process. The positioning of the bobbin and a voice coil is thus reliable when being assembled, thereby improving acoustic performance of a speaker.
Abstract:
In the invented speaker system, a passive radiator 401 is mounted on a top board 403a of baffle 403 in a direction opposite to a speaker unit 402. The speaker unit 402 is mounted on the opening of a cylinder 403b protruding from top board 403a at a place inner from the end. The remaining part of the opening is closed with a sub-baffle 406, to form a front closed cavity 404 and a back closed cavity 405. In this way, both the passive radiator 401 and the speaker unit 402 are fixed to the top board 403a whose rigidity being the highest; which reduces the unwanted vibration.
Abstract:
A leader line of a voice coil from a conductive wire part is drawn out from a part between a diaphragm coupling part and a part disposed in the magnetic gap toward a frame in a non-contact state with a diaphragm. One end side of the second edge made of an elastic body is coupled to a part between a drawing part of the leader line on the voice coil and a part of the voice coil disposed in the magnetic gap. The other end side of the second edge is coupled to the frame. A suspension holder is integrated with the proximity of a coupling part of the second edge to the voice coil. The suspension holder is stuck to the voice coil using an adhesive. The disturbance of the movement of the voice coil can be reduced.
Abstract:
A speaker diaphragm includes a fabric layer in which impregnated thermosetting resin is thermally cured, and a paper layer integrated on a rear face of this fabric layer. Fluffs of the paper layer filling stitches of the fabric layer are entangled with threads of the fabric layer from a surface of the fabric layer, and are firmly fixed by thermosetting resin. This integrates the layers in the state that the paper layer is filled in the stitches of the fabric layer. Accordingly, internal loss and Young's modulus of the speaker diaphragm can be increased. As a result, the speaker sound quality can be improved.
Abstract:
In a speaker, a first space enclosed by the surface of a second edge close to a magnetic circuit body, a suspension holder), the outer circumferential surface of a voice coil body, the magnetic circuit body, and a frame is airtight to the atmosphere outside the speaker, to make a first space function as an air suspension. The voice coil body is supported with a first edge and a second edge, and with the aid of the springiness of gas inside a first space. Hence, an equivalent, low Young's modulus can be set to the first edge and the second. Consequently, deformation of the diaphragm connected to the first edge is reduced during sound reproduction, thereby reducing disturbance in frequency response in the middle and high ranges.
Abstract:
A diaphragm has a through-hole for fixing a voice coil at its center part, and has a fixing part of an edge at its outer periphery which is substantially circular. The shape of the outer periphery of diaphragm is formed as follows: a first circle and a second circle overlap each other with their center points displaced in such a manner that at least one part of an outer periphery of the first circle and the second circle forms a part of the substantially circular outer periphery of the entire shape. Using this structure, signal reproduction characteristics can significantly be flattened by reducing the resonance level.
