Abstract:
A wireless protocol may be implemented in a smart transceiver device that contains the physical (PHY) and media access control (MAC) layers of the wireless protocol stack. In various embodiments, a serial peripheral interface (SPI) based design may be used. Disclosed is an embodiment of a protocol which may be used to provide control and data transfer to and from the smart transceiver. In particular, an exemplary format of the protocol, the commands, and responses is disclosed. In a further embodiment, an application programming interface (API) is disclosed. The API may provide hardware independent services that can be used to establish, maintain, and transport data to and from the system and the smart transceiver device. In particular, an exemplary and non-limiting set of services, function calls, configuration methods, events, and parameters is disclosed.
Abstract:
A computer readable medium containing executable instructions that when executed perform a method of generating relationship data, the method comprising: accessing an interaction database, wherein the interaction database comprises a record of exchanges between two or more users of a digital communication system, and wherein the exchanges occurred on the digital communication system; obtaining one or more characteristics of one or more exchanges of the two or more users, wherein the one or more characteristics are stored in the interaction database and wherein the data is obtained through a direct internet access protocol; and generating relationship data by analyzing the one or more characteristics.
Abstract:
A method of playing a wagering card game using playing cards. The method may have steps of: a) a player making an Ante wager against the dealer on relative rank of a player 2-card poker hand against a dealer 2-card poker hand; b) dealing a player one playing card; c) dealing a dealer one playing card; d) dealing three community cards e) after the player views the player single card and three community cards the player elects to make a Play wager in addition to the Ante wager or folds. f) all wagers made in steps a) through e) are resolved on the basis of two card poker ranks by player and dealer selecting best 2-card hands using his hole card and one of the three community cards.
Abstract:
Pai Gow poker wagering card game is played by: a) Players wagering on a Pai Gow game; b) Players placing an optional wager against a pay table on a specified color combination of playing cards in a separate game that uses only residual cards from the Pai Gow poker game; c) dealing seven-card hands from a set of cards to six player positions and one dealer position, leaving at least three residual cards that have not been dealt to players or the dealer as residual cards; d) resolving the game of Pai Gow poker; e) comparing playing cards in the residual cards to the specific color combination wagered on in step b); and f) paying players who have placed the optional wager when the color combination in the residual cards matches the color combination wagered on in step b) and wherein playing cards are provided as either physical playing cards on a gaming table or are provided as virtual playing cards from a processor having an associated random number generator. A tie-breaking event may also be included in the game using residual cards.
Abstract:
An accessory is provided wireless connectivity with a game console by reconfiguring an earlier transport format that was used to solely transport voice data packets. The reconfiguration incorporates the use of a hybrid sub-frame, wherein voice data packets are replaced with communication data packets. The replacement is indicated by a set of identification bits inserted into a payload identifier field of the hybrid sub-frame.
Abstract:
A wireless headset having a user interface configured to allow the user to utilize the full functionality of the headset while minimizing the number of physical control inputs necessary is described. The user interface may have a user input control that is configured to control more than one function of the headset. The user interface may also provide audio as well as visual outputs to the user to indicate a particular functionality of the headset being controlled by the user or a particular status of the headset.

Abstract:
An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for modular distribution and maintenance of non-“object code only” (OCO) dynamic components. OCO components comprise compiled executable modules. Non-OCO components comprise user readable and/or editable components. The modular distribution of non-OCO components comprises updating a skeleton data set comprising text and component fields such that user customizations and developer customizations are preserved. The modular distribution further allows for the generation of an output data in response to a reportable operational event, wherein the output data set is based on the skeleton data set and user customizations and developer customizations stored in customization data sets.
Abstract:
A remote battery charger, comprising a DC-to-DC converter, able to accept a first DC current with a voltage of less than 13 VDC and able to produce, from said first DC current, a second DC current of at least a 15 amps at a voltage of at least 13.5 VDC, provided an adequate first DC current level. Also, the charger includes a current acceptance reduction input, whereby when said input is activated said DC-to-DC converter reduces its acceptance of said first DC current.
