    摘要： A secure installing system for mounting a container on a frame member, with ease of access to the container. The installing system is appropriate for use in a medical environment such as a hospital. The frame member may be a shelf bracket, or a cabinet for housing a medical waste container, and may be mounted to a wall. A container such as a glove box holder is installed on the frame member. The container may have a dispenser opening providing ready access to materials such as tissues or surgical gloves. The container is securely mounted to the frame member using a hook and snap arrangement and may be disengaged from the frame member in order to exchange stored materials such as tissues or surgical gloves. The hook and snap arrangement protect against accidental dislodging of the container from the frame member, thereby preventing possible contamination of stored materials. Frame members that are shelf brackets may support two containers each. Furthermore, shelf brackets may be joined and latched together in alignment for storage of multiple containers.

    摘要： A medical instrument holder and sharps disposal device is disclosed wherein a pair of plastic container body halves are provided to be manipulated between opened and closed positions by associated hinge means and a mechanical lock. A medical instrument rest in the form of a one piece molded plastic insert is provided on one of the body halves for positioning medical instruments thereon when the container is in its open position. A cushion of reticulated foam material is provided to receive and envelope the tips of sharps associated with the instruments laid upon the rest. Sharps removal means are provided for assisting in the release of medical instrument sharps from the associated medical instruments. A magnetic means is also provided within one of the container body halves for receiving and holding such removed sharps to facilitate the counting a subsequent disposal thereof within the container when a medical operation has been completed and the sharps and container are to be discarded.

    摘要： An insertion guide for aiding the insertion of the superior haptic of an intraocular lens into the capsular bag of the eye during intraocular surgery. The guide is made of a thin, flexible material and has a body portion and a flap portion connected by an integral connecting portion which permits the flap to move from the first position folded against the body portion to a second position where the flap is disposed at an acute angle to the body portion so that the flap will act as a backstop to guide the superior haptic of an intraocular lens into the capsular bag. The present invention also relates to the method of inserting an intraocular lens using this guide.
