Abstract:
A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel including short sides and long sides, a plurality of gate lines disposed on the liquid crystal panel and extending substantially in parallel with the short sides of the liquid crystal panel, a plurality of data lines insulated from the gate lines, intersecting the gate lines and extending substantially in parallel with the long sides of the liquid crystal panel, a printed circuit board disposed near one of the short sides of the liquid crystal panel and providing an image signal to the liquid crystal panel, a light guide plate overlapping the liquid crystal panel, a light source module providing light to the light guide plate and a circuit board on which the light source module is mounted.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel including short sides and long sides, a gate wire extending substantially parallel with the short sides of the liquid crystal panel, a data wire extending substantially parallel with the long sides of the liquid crystal panel and insulated from the gate wire with crossing the gate wire, a first printed circuit board disposed adjacent to a long side of the liquid crystal panel facing a same direction as the liquid crystal panel is and supplying an image signal to the liquid crystal panel, a circuit film electrically connecting the data wire and the first printed circuit board with each other to carry the image signal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an LCD apparatus including a receiving container for receiving a light guide plate and a lamp assembly, a first chassis for fixing the light guide plate and an LCD panel, and a second chassis for fixing the first chassis and the LCD panel. The receiving container and the first and second chassis are made of metal material so that the LCD apparatus may have reduced size and weight.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal display panel, a driver printed circuit board, a backlight assembly and a receiving container. The driver printed circuit board is electrically connected to the liquid crystal display panel to provide the liquid crystal display panel with the image date. The backlight assembly is disposed under the liquid crystal display panel. The receiving container has front side and back side. The front side supports the backlight assembly. First and second protrusion portions are formed on a backside to support the driver printed circuit board, such that the driver printed circuit board is spaced apart from the backside of the receiving container. Thus, a work for lifting up the data PCB to insert the digitizer into between the data PCB and the receiving container is not required, so that productivity is enhanced.
Abstract:
An LCD module and LCD apparatus is provided capable of preventing a chassis from being damaged by an external impact and reducing a number of parts of an LCD apparatus having the LCD module and a number of assembling processes. The LCD apparatus comprises a clip disposed between a receiving container and a chassis by a screw. The screw is engaged to the receiving container passing through the chassis and clip. The clip may be provided to opposite and portions of the receiving container to reinforce the strength of the chassis.
Abstract:
A lamp fixing member includes a body portion, a lamp fixing portion and an upper supporting plate. The lamp fixing portion is disposed on the upper surface of the body portion and has a groove for fixing a lamp. The upper supporting plate is combined with the lamp fixing portion and fixes an upper portion of the lamp. The lamp fixing portion includes a combining portion for being combined with the upper supporting plate. The supporting plate and lamp fixing portion may be formed of a silicone material. Therefore, the efficiency of lamp assembly is enhanced by automated assembly process and a display quality is enhanced by reducing temperature deviation in the lamp fixing portion. The lamp fixing portion may further include a lower supporting plate combined with the lamp fixing portion to fix a lower portion of the lamp.
Abstract:
In a flat panel display device, a display panel for displaying an image is disposed on a mold frame and supported by a metal clip coupled to the mold frame. The metal clip includes a first coupling portion coupled to an upper surface of the mold frame, a second coupling portion coupled to a lower surface of the mold frame, a connecting portion for connecting the first and second coupling portions and a guiding portion upwardly extended from the connecting portion so as to guide and support the display panel. Accordingly, the flat panel display device can have a reduced size and an enhanced assemblability.
Abstract:
A backlight assembly including a light guide plate having a plurality of side surfaces, a first lamp having a first lamp tube disposed adjacent to the plurality of side surfaces, first and second electrodes disposed at opposite end portions of the first lamp tube, a second lamp having a second lamp tube disposed adjacent to the plurality of side surfaces, third and fourth electrodes disposed at opposite end portions of the second lamp tube, the third and first electrodes being disposed adjacent to one another, and the fourth and second electrodes being disposed adjacent to one another, a connector for electrically connecting the first and third electrodes, and a power supply for supplying a first discharge voltage to the second electrode and a second discharge voltage to the fourth electrode, the first and second discharge voltages having a phase difference of 180° and a same voltage level.
