    摘要: A large number of pixel lamps are evenly arrayed in a regular pattern to constitute a display screen. The pixel lamps are in three kinds which are a first color lamp, a second color lamp and a third color lamp. These three kinds of pixel lamps are evenly dispersed on the display screen. Image data to be displayed on the screen is multi-color data of a bitmap format, in which one pixel is expressed by a gathering of first color data, second color data and third color data. The first color data plane (second color data plane, third color data plane) on a bitmap image data plane is divided into a multitude of groups, each group being composed of a plurality of pixels arranged adjacently to each other. Each group is made to correspond to each first color lamp (second color lamp, third color lamp). An action of selecting, in a specified order, the first color data of a plurality of pixels that belong to one group is repeated at high speed, and the first color lamp (second color lamp, third color lamp) corresponding to each group is activated to emit light according to the selected first color data (second color data, third color data). A way the first color data plane is grouped, the second color data plane is grouped, and the third color data plane is grouped is such that the groups are mutually positionally-shifted on the bitmap image data plane while being partially overlapped, interrelating with a positional-shift in the arrays of the first color lamp, the second color lamp, and the third color lamp on the display screen.

    摘要: A system has a screen module for displaying multicolor images on a screen having orderly-arrayed first, second, and third color LEDs, and a data-sending module sending control signals and image data to be displayed. The screen module has first, second, and third color gradation-control circuits for each pixel. The data-sending module comprises: a frame memory for temporarily storing image data; an image-data transfer controller for reading out image data from the memory and outputting it with a data-transfer clock; first, second, and third color pulse-train generators for generating high-speed pulse trains to be given to each gradation-control circuit; and a pulse-train outputting means for outputting the pulse trains for each color. Each pulse-train generator generates, with a constant period, pulse trains of 2n pieces or a number closely therebelow, pulse intervals varying with time according to a preset characteristic.

    摘要: A high-rise building with a large scale dot-matrix display device is disclosed. The glass panels arranged in rows and columns form a curtain wall structured transparent outer wall 12 extending over an exterior of a building 10. Each panel is installed apart from end portions of floor slabs to form a void space therebetween. A plurality of louver structured modules 22 are arranged within the void space in rows and columns to form a large scale display area. Each module 22 has a louver-like structure formed of a plurality of posts 24 arranged in substantially parallel relationship and a plurality of parallel, uniformly spaced beams 26 connecting said adjacent posts 24. A plurality of LED combination lamps 28 are mounted on each beam 26 at uniform pitches as those between the adjacent beams 26. The LEDs are driven by drive circuits disposed in each beam 26. The vertical guide members 44 are fixed to the end portions of the floor slabs 20. The guide members 44 are arranged substantially in parallel relationship so that the modules 22 are supported between the adjacent guides 44 at the both lateral sides thereof. A plurality of vertical mullion members 48 fixed to the vertical guide members 44 as spaced apart from each of the vertical guides 44, so that the glass panels 12 are supported therebetween.
