Abstract:
An applicator for a product of viscous consistency includes a product reservoir on top of which there is a dispensing head equipped with a rigid application element provided with pores which communicate with one another in all directions. The product has a viscosity chosen so that passage of the product through the pores under gravity and/or capillary action is prevented. The applicator includes a device for compressing the product and producing a sufficient pressure on the product to push it through the pores when a dose of product is dispensed.
Abstract:
The present invention is a device for combining at least two products. The device includes a container having at least one wall, the wall defining an interior of the container, and an opening for allowing access to the interior of the container. The device also includes a separating element movable with respect to the container from a first position to a second position. In the first position, at least a portion of the separating element is in the interior of the container and defines in the interior of the container a first region for a first product and a second region for a second product. In the second position, the separating element is at least substantially removed from the interior of the container so that the regions are placed in fluid communication with one another to permit mixing of the first and second products. In one aspect of the invention, the separating element moves from the first position to the second position without passing through the opening of the container. In another aspect of the invention, the container has a removable cover. Also disclosed is a method of combining at least two products.
Abstract:
A unit for applying a product, in particular a cosmetic product, has an axis of symmetry (A), a movable part (110) provided with an applicator element for applying the product, a hollow fixed part (107), and flexible elements for connecting the movable and fixed parts. The movable part is capable for displacement along the axis (A). The connecting elements are constituted by at least one tongue (111) oriented in a plane substantially orthogonal to the axis (A). A first end (111a) of the tongue is joined to the movable part, a second end (111b) of this tongue is joined to the fixed part, and the dispensing of this product is effected via the movable part.
Abstract:
A product applicator assembly including a container for containing the product to be dispensed. The container includes an outlet for the product. A product applicator is in communication with the container. The applicator has an outer application surface and is borne by a support fixed onto the product outlet of the container. The support includes an elastically deformable fixing device which keeps the applicator member fixed onto the support.
Abstract:
A device for dispensing a substance stored under pressure in a receptacle, the device including a cover for snapping on the receptacle, the receptacle being provided with a valve having a control rod, the cover including a tubular endpiece for engaging on the control rod and co-operating therewith to form a channel along which the substance passes. The cover includes at least one bearing surface disposed outside the endpiece and suitable for preventing the control rod from occupying the annular space around the outside of the endpiece in order to prevent the cover being snapped into place while the control rod is in an inclined position.
Abstract:
A pressurized device for dispensing a product (19) includes a container body having a reservoir cavity (11.1), a valve (12) positioned at the top of the reservoir cavity, a dispenser (14) connected to the valve and a pressurizing device (15). The pressurizing device is formed by an element of cellular material with closed cells. The element of cellular material and the product are placed together inside the reservoir cavity so that the device dispenses the product when the valve is actuated. The element of cellular material has at least one slit at its circumference over its whole height measured along the longitudinal axis of the container body.
Abstract:
An aerosol can dispensing valve activation device includes a disk-shaped plate (1) provided with a central protuberance (2). Plate (1) is disposed transversely in a cylindrical hoop (11) attachable to an upper collar (9) of the aerosol can, and is connected at its peripheral edges to the cylindrical hoop by a connector (10), allowing displacement of plate (1) relative to hoop (11). A lever mechanism is provided having a ring (17) connected to the hoop (11) by a pivotal arm (14) having a tongue (15). An activating tab (18) projects upward from a peripheral edge of plate (1) in a location diametrically opposite tongue (15) when positioned for use.
Abstract:
A dispenser comprises a dispensing valve equipping a container that contains a product to be sprayed. The valve is provided with an actuator stem and the dispenser is of the kind which comprises a push button having a pin capable of acting on the stem. A duct passes through the pin and connects the outlet of the stem to a nozzle provided in the push button. A retaining ring is capable of being fixed on the container for holding the push button in position. The push button is molded in one piece with the retaining ring and is articulated thereto by a swivel joint and at least one tab. The swivel joint connects the push button to the ring in a zone situated in a plane defined by an axis (X) of the container and an axis (Y) of the nozzle and is capable of pivoting round an axis (Z) perpendicular to the axis of the container. The tab is movable in translation solely in the direction of depressing the push button and is situated in a zone of the push button defined by an angular sector of 40.degree. to 140.degree. relative to the axis (Z).
