Abstract:
A device for dispensing a substance stored under pressure in a receptacle, the device including a cover for snapping on the receptacle, the receptacle being provided with a valve having a control rod, the cover including a tubular endpiece for engaging on the control rod and co-operating therewith to form a channel along which the substance passes. The cover includes at least one bearing surface disposed outside the endpiece and suitable for preventing the control rod from occupying the annular space around the outside of the endpiece in order to prevent the cover being snapped into place while the control rod is in an inclined position.
Abstract:
An aerosol can dispensing valve activation device includes a disk-shaped plate (1) provided with a central protuberance (2). Plate (1) is disposed transversely in a cylindrical hoop (11) attachable to an upper collar (9) of the aerosol can, and is connected at its peripheral edges to the cylindrical hoop by a connector (10), allowing displacement of plate (1) relative to hoop (11). A lever mechanism is provided having a ring (17) connected to the hoop (11) by a pivotal arm (14) having a tongue (15). An activating tab (18) projects upward from a peripheral edge of plate (1) in a location diametrically opposite tongue (15) when positioned for use.
Abstract:
The dispensing device includes a sealing capsule fitted with a dispensing opening (3), the capsule including a clamp (6) having two arms (7) linked by a crosspiece (9), one zone of which serves to close the opening (3), the ends of the arms furthest away from the crosspiece being fitted with articulation parts (A) on a fixed part of the receptacle (1); these articulation parts (A) are designed to allow displacement of the clamp (6) in an axial direction (X--X) in order to distance the crosspiece (9) of the opening (3). The device includes a cam system (c), set in between the arms (7) of the clamp (6) and a fixed part of the receptacle, intended to cause the displacement of the clamp (6) in an axial direction (X--X); the articulation parts (A) of the clamp (6) include a non-circular transversal sectioned axis (16) on each arm, which works together with a window (17) in such a way that, whatever the angle of the axis, the axis (16) and the internal face of the window (17) are sufficiently close to prevent any movement of the clamp in relation to the receptacle, whilst causing the aforementioned displacement in an axial direction.
Abstract:
Products having a viscous or pasty consistency, or those dispensed as foams from a container (1) provided with a pushbutton (13) the actuation of which causes the ejection of a dose of product, are never, in practice, completely evacuated from the ejection conduit (14) made in a movable portion (9) bearing the pushbutton (13) and adapted to the outlet of the container (1). Hence they often threaten to escape from this conduit (14) and soil the container (1). To overcome this disadvantage, the invention proposes that the conduit (14) discharge into a chamber (40) defined by a fixed portion (10) attached to the container (1) and with the movable portion (9) comprising a dispensing cap (8); the chamber (40) opens to the outside via an opening (38), and the movable portion (9) includes a needle (27) capable of closing this opening (38) in the position of repose of the pushbutton (13) and of freeing it upon actuation of the pushbutton.
Abstract:
An applicator device for applying product to at least one section of hair includes an elastically deformable component, a reservoir for the product, and a slot at least partially defined by the elastically deformable component. The slot is bounded by edges and is configured to receive a section of hair between the edges. The slot comprises a first slot portion lying in a first plane and at least one second slot portion lying in a second plane different from the first plane.
Abstract:
An actuating device for avoiding inadvertent triggering of a dispensing valve, and hence undesired expulsion of packed product, in a simple and economical manner. According to the invention, the device has a fixed annular collar, an actuating plate with a circular base, an articulation area including, for example, a film hinge, and a force activation area. The force activating area of the base includes a radial cutout defining a recess having a bearing surface in which a tongue can engage. The tongue has a free end and a joined end and can assume a locking position and a dispensing position. In the locking position, the free end engages the recess provided in the radial cutout of the plate and abuts the bearing surface to prevent pivoting plate movement. In the dispensing position, the tongue is retracted inside the plate, allowing pivotal movement of the plate around its articulation to the annular collar.
Abstract:
Device for dispensing a dose of given volume of a liquid or pasty product, including:a receptacle (2) equipped with a first pump (4) including a hollow control rod (5) for transfering the product from the receptacle (2) into the bottle (3) by forcing;a bottle (3) equipped at one end with a second pump (15) and with a dispensing head (14), the bottle having, at the other end, a bottom (17), designed to interact with the end of the control rod (25) of the first pump (4) and including a valve which opens only under the pressure of the product contained in the receptacle (2)when the first pump (4) is actuated.
Abstract:
A device for activating a dispensing mechanism such as a pump or a valve is fitted to a container that contains a product to be dispensed and has an axially movable push-type tubular control rod aligned with a dispensing orifice. The activating device has a pushbutton mounted at the end of the control rod of the dispensing mechanism and is provided with an outlet nozzle located essentially at the center of its outer face aligned and in communication with the control rod. The activating device also includes a substantially cylindrical operating part having an annular upper surface constituting a force application zone and a support member able to cooperate with a stop member such that application of an activation force at any point on the upper annular surface of the operating part triggers displacement of the pushbutton and the control rod to activate the dispensing mechanism. The operating part is connected to the push-button by a ball joint to transmit axial displacement resulting from an application of force on the force application zone to activate the control rod.
