    摘要： A guide attachment for a rotary hand tool is disclosed that comprises a housing, an adapter and a removable base. The attachment is configured to remove grout from between adjacent tiles, such as floor or wall tiles. The housing of the preferred embodiment is configured to permit a tool bit to engage a work surface at the normal intersection of two planes. The removable base of the preferred embodiment permits the attachment to work on flat surfaces. The base is also reversible and contains multiple sets of guide points for guiding the tool bit along grooves that have different widths. The preferred embodiment can also include a vacuum adapter that is attachable to the housing and allows a vacuum hose to be coupled to the guide attachment for removing debris during operation. The configuration of the housing or locking mechanism accommodates adapters having different circumferences.

    摘要： A light attachment that can be readily mounted on a variety of tools and tool support fixtures and other support structures includes a light portion supported on a mounting portion by a flexible gooseneck cable. The mounting portion includes a housing that defines a male-female attachment element configured to slidingly mate with a complementary attachment element formed on the body of the power tool. In a preferred embodiment, the attachment element has a dovetail shape for sliding engagement within a complementary shaped notch in the body of the tool. The housing contains a power source for the light portion. The light portion incorporates an on-off switch that is actuated by rotating a component that is threadedly engaged within the housing. The housing supports a printed circuit board to which the power supply wires are attached. The circuit board also carries a spring contact switch element that completes an electrical circuit to energize the light portion when the spring contact is pressed against the circuit board. Power is supplied through the circuit board and switch to an LED light element. The LED is disposed within the housing so that the rotatable component can push the base of the LED into the spring switch to close the electrical circuit.

    摘要： A bypass valve provides an elongated valve body defining a bore and a longitudinal axis. A first pair of axially spaced ports are attached to the valve body and include a service inlet port and a service outlet port. In addition, a second pair of axially spaced ports are attached to the valve body and include a valve inlet port and a valve outlet port. The bypass valve also has an elongated spool with an axis of rotation coinciding with the longitudinal axis while positioned to rotate in the bore between a service position and a bypass position. As part of the spool, a first curved land defines an outlet passage from the valve inlet port to the service outlet port, and a second curved land axially spaced from the first curved land defines an inlet passage from the service inlet port to the valve outlet port. The curved lands define the inlet and outlet passages so that fluid passing through the valve passes directly through a generally central area of the bore without diversion or obstruction by a central axial shaft. A bypass passage is located on the spool opposite the curved lands and is configured to provide fluid communication from the service inlet port to the service outlet port.
