Abstract: A linear motor is provided including a magnet track including a plurality of permanent magnets, and a coil assembly including a plurality of laminations. The coil assembly defines a plurality of teeth having slots therebetween. The plurality of teeth include (1) two end teeth and (2) at least one non-end tooth arranged between the two end teeth. Each of the two end teeth defines an end profile including a first surface and a second surface. The first surface and the second surface are separated by a step which is substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by the plurality of magnets. The linear motor also includes a plurality of coils at least partially disposed in at least a portion of the slots defined by the plurality of teeth.

Abstract: A device for modifying an input signal having an input signal frequency and a duty cycle is disclosed. The device determines two separate counts for each of the high and low pulses of the input signal. One of the two counts for each of the high and low pulses is divided. The divided count is then compared with the undivided count. Based on this comparison, an output module outputs an output signal that has the same duty cycle as the input signal but at a frequency that is a multiple of the input signal frequency.

Abstract: A plant watering device includes a first body portion, a second body portion having a chamber therein and connected to the bottom of the first body portion, a third body portion set on the top outer wall of the first body portion, and a water supplying tube which is inserted into one side of the third body portion, extending downwards along one side of the first and second body portions to the bottom of the second body portion and upwards along the opposite side of the second and first body portions, and out of the third body portion at the opposite side. Water is provided by the water supplying tube through a hole into the bottom of the chamber and its pressure is regulated using a micropore material block or a water-absorbent rod in the chamber, and a soft water-permeable disc at the bottom of the first body portion.
