摘要: A light-shielding blade for use in a light control device, comprises a flat area and a recessed area on each face. The recessed area on one face is positioned substantially corresponding to the flat area on the other face. The light control device is for controlling a light-passing aperture and comprises a blade group composed of plural light-shielding blades movable between an extended state in which the plural blades are extended in a partially overlapping condition and a superposed state in which the plural blades are stacked in a substantially overlapping state. The blade group comprises at least a blade provided with a flat area and a recessed area on each face thereof. The recessed area on one face is positioned substantially corresponding to the flat area on the other face, and at least one of the flat areas is in overlapping contact with a neighboring blade in said extended state of the blade group.

摘要: An apparatus for measuring the concentration of carbon dioxide in water that can correct a reduction in measurement accuracy based on deterioration of a pH indicator is provided. A carbon dioxide concentration measurement apparatus includes a deterioration determining section that measures a change rate ΔA0 of an isosbestic point absorbance A0 and determines that the pH indicator solution is deteriorated when the change rate ΔA0 is reduced by a predetermined reduction rate or more. After the deterioration determining section determines deterioration of the pH indicator solution, a pH value computing section computes the pH value of the pH indicator solution using a corrected pH computation expression for correcting a deterioration of the pH value of the pH indicator solution on the basis of the change rate ΔA0 of the isosbestic point absorbance A0.

摘要: A buckle device that includes a buckle with which a tongue supported by a seat belt becomes engaged, and a buckle-moving device which moves the buckle between a storage position at which the buckle is stored when the buckle is not used and a use position at which the buckle is retained in a used state in which the seat belt is fastened, wherein the buckle-moving device is adapted to move the buckle between the storage position and the use position with a rotational movement, and wherein the buckle device further comprises a buckle-supporting member that is adapted to support the buckle and includes an external-force-reducing mechanism which reduces an external force applied to the buckle-supporting member if the external force is larger than a predetermined force, wherein the external-force-reducing mechanism is a buckle-moving device that allows the buckle to move in a fore-and-aft direction of a vehicle when the external force is applied to at least one of the buckle and the buckle supporting member in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle. The buckle may be hidden in the vehicle seat at the storage position. The buckle does not obstruct the occupant when the occupant sits on or gets off the vehicle seat, and the occupant can smoothly sit on or get off the vehicle seat.

摘要: A kinetic-energy absorbing member absorbs the kinetic energy of a pull-in member such as a buckle or a lap anchor when reaching a bottom position. The kinetic-energy absorbing member, which includes a thin-walled tubular member that may be made of metal such as iron or aluminum, is arranged between a bracket and buckle. As the pretensioner is actuated, the buckle is pulled by a wire, thereby depressing the kinetic-energy absorbing member against the bracket so that the kinetic-energy absorbing member collapses and the kinetic energy of the buckle is absorbed when reaching the bottom position.

摘要: A film rewinder for a camera comprising a motor and rewinding means driven by the motor and adapted to rewind a used film into a film cartridge, comprises first sensing means disposed at a specific position in the path of the film moved to the film cartridge when the film is being rewound and effective to generate an output signal when the leader portion of the film has passed the specific position; second sensing means effective to generate an output signal when the leader portion of the film is further rewound to the film cartridge beyond the specific position; means for selecting one of first and second conditions; and control means. The control means is used for de-energizing the motor when the first condition is selected by the selecting means and if the control means receives the output signal from the first sensing means and for de-energizing the motor when the second condition is selected by the selecting means and if the control means receives the output signal from the second sensing means.

摘要: In a camera having a shutter device which is capable of controlling the movement of a forward shutter curtain and/or a rearward shutter curtain by electromagnetic means operatively associated with the depression of a shutter button and which is capable of controlling the movement of the two shutter curtains by mechanical means instead of the electromagnetic means, there is provided a shutter release member for operating the mechanical means. The shutter release member has an operating portion provided on the outer surface of the camera separately from the shutter button.
