Abstract: A supporting glass substrate includes a compression stress layer on a surface thereof, and has an average thermal expansion coefficient at 50° C. to 200° C. that is 7 ppm/° C. to 15 ppm/° C., an internal tensile stress that is 5 MPa to 55 MPa, and a depth of the compression stress layer that is 10 μm to 60 μm.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing a chemically strengthened glass, the method including, performing a chemical strengthening treatment including the following steps (1) to (3) to a glass having a specific composition, (1) a step of bringing the glass into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 70 mass % or more of potassium nitrate to perform ion exchange; (2) a step of bringing the glass having been ion-exchanged in step (1) into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 50 mass % or more of sodium nitrate to perform ion exchange; and (3) a step of bringing the glass having been ion-exchanged in step (2) into contact with an inorganic salt composition including 70 mass % or more of potassium nitrate to perform ion exchange.
