Abstract: A cable assembly includes coaxially arranged inner and outer barrels. The outer barrel overlaps a portion of the inner barrel. The inner and outer barrels respectively include first and second features that cooperate with one another to form a retention feature. The cable assembly has a cable that has at least one wire surrounded by an inner insulator that is covered in a metallic shield. The metallic shield is arranged in between the inner and outer barrels. The first feature is arranged beneath the metallic shield, and the second feature is arranged over the metallic shield. At least one of the first and second features extends in a radial direction relative to the other of the first and second features to capture the metallic shield with the retention feature.

Abstract: An electrical crimp terminal for connection with a conductor of an electrical cable has an insulation surrounding the conductor. Abstract: A network connector assembly comprises a header housing having two pins forming a pin pair. A first pin end portion can be connected to a counter connector. A second pin end portion can be connected to a PCB. A first electrically conductive shielding member is arranged laterally to the pin pair. A second electrically conductive shielding member is arranged intermediate the pin pair. The second pin end portions form a press fit connector configured to connect to the PCB. The second pin end portions comprise a press protrusion configured to cooperate with a press tool while being pressed in a PCB-opening of the PCB. The second electrically conductive shielding member defines a tool opening arranged at a position that allows movement of a press tool through the tool opening along a tool axis to access the press protrusion.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an inner signal contact, an outer shielding contact, and a cover. The outer contact has a crimping portion including a first crimp wing and a second crimp wing that are bendable towards each other to attach the outer shielding contact to a cable such that ends of the first crimp wing and the second crimp wing extend towards each other when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable. The cover is configured to cover a braid or a protective layer of the cable that is arranged underneath the ends of the crimp wings when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable.
