Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a first network node. In one embodiment, the method includes the first network node transmitting a second transmission to a UE (User Equipment) in at least a first symbol of a first TTI (Transmission Time Interval). The method further includes the first network node transmitting a first transmission to a second network node in at least a second symbol of a second TTI, wherein the first TTI is TTI-level aligned to the second TTI and the first symbol is at least partially overlapped with the second symbol in time domain.

The method also includes the cell, TP, or TRP transmitting a second RS to a UE for PDCCH demodulation, wherein the second RS is transmitted on multiple beams in a beam set of the UE in a subframe (or symbol) in which the PDCCH is transmitted.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a UE (User Equipment). In one embodiment, the method includes the UE receiving an SCell activation/deactivation MAC (Medium Access Control) control element to activate the SCell. The method further includes the UE activates the SCell based on the SCell activation/deactivation MAC control element. The method also includes the UE receiving a beam indication by a MAC control element via the PCell, wherein the beam indication includes a cell index and the beam indication is used to derive at least one beam to be used in the SCell. In addition, the method includes the UE using the at least one beam for a DL (Downlink) transmission or an UL (Uplink) transmission in the SCell.

The UE transmits an interest indication for broadcast or multicast to the serving cell. The interest indication for broadcast or multicast includes at least some information associated with a broadcast or multicast service of interest. The UE receives the system information for broadcast or multicast from the serving cell after transmitting the interest indication for broadcast or multicast.

Abstract: A method for a wireless communications system is disclosed. In one example, a user equipment (UE) device (e.g. a mobile phone) provides a UE beam sweeping number to a network node. Based on the UE beam sweeping number, the network node provides configuration information or allocates a resource to the UE device. The UE device can use the configuration information or the resource for measurement. The beam sweeping number refers to the number of time intervals that the UE device would need to generate multiple sets of UE beams, one set per time interval, that would cover all possible directions in which the UE device sends and/or receives transmissions, in a manner that resembles a sweeping of UE beams.
