摘要: The present invention is intended to improve image quality ensured by a conventional (axial) scan, a cine scan, or a helical scan performed by an X-ray CT apparatus including a two-dimensional area X-ray detector that has a matrix structure. In helical scan image reconstruction based in three-dimensional image reconstruction performed in an X-ray CT apparatus including a two-dimensional area X-ray detector that is represented by a multi-array X-ray detector or a flat-panel X-ray detector and that has a matrix structure, an image expressing a slice thickness larger than the width of one detector array included in a multi-array X-ray detector is reconstructed according to either of a method of convoluting a z-direction filter to projection data items in the direction of detector arrays (z direction) and a method of convoluting a filer to a tomographic image space in the z direction. The two methods are optimized in terms of a calculation time and tomographic image quality. Consequently, a tomographic image can be quickly reconstructed with high quality.

摘要: The present invention is to easily associate X-ray projection data and scanning table z-direction coordinate information with each other. 摘要: When labeling is performed for a three-dimensional image, the present invention aims to reduce time required for labeling in the three-dimensional image by three-dimensionally referring connection relationships among image areas. To achieve this object, the following processing is performed. A variable i of label number is initialized to 1 (step S901), and pixels whose pixel value is 1 are searched for (step S902). The first time that a pixel whose pixel value is 1 is detected (step S903), the label number of the pixel is set to i (1) (step S904). When the next pixel (target pixel) whose pixel value is 1 is detected (step S905), if plural pixels having label numbers are detected within a three-dimensional neighboring mask, the smallest label number is assigned as the label number of the target pixel (step S907). If one pixel is detected, the label number is assigned as the label number of the target pixel. If all pixel values (except the target pixel) within the three-dimensional neighboring mask are 0, a label number (i+1) is assigned as the label number of the target pixel (step S909).

摘要: To perform cone beam reconstruction by using projection data correctly corresponding to X-ray beam having passed through each pixel in the reconstruction area, data D1 is obtained which is plane projected to a plane based on projection data D0. Then, plane projection data D1 to the projection plane pp is projected to the reconstruction area in the direction of X-ray transmission to obtain back projection pixel data D2. Thereafter, back projection pixel data D2 will be added for each corresponding pixel for all views to obtain back projection data D3. The present invention provides reconstruction by device of projection data correctly corresponding to the X-ray beam having passed through the reconstruction area. Through the plane projection to a plane the operation will become simplified and faster.

摘要: The present invention provides an X-ray CT apparatus capable of improving image quality of a dual energy image. The X-ray CT apparatus comprises an X-ray tube for applying X rays having a first energy spectrum and X rays having a second energy spectrum different from the first energy spectrum to a subject, an X-ray data acquisition unit for acquiring X-ray projection data of the first energy spectrum projected onto the subject and X-ray projection data of the second energy spectrum projected thereonto, dual energy image reconstructing unit for image-reconstructing tomographic images indicative of X-ray tube voltage-dependent information at X-ray absorption coefficients related to a distribution of atoms, based on the X-ray projection data of the first energy spectrum and the X-ray projection data of the second energy spectrum, and adjusting unit for adjusting conditions for the image reconstruction in order to optimize the tomographic images indicative of the X-ray tube voltage-dependent information.
