摘要: A computed tomography (CT) apparatus includes a gantry including a rotation device which has a ring shape and is rotatable about an axis of rotation, a plurality of light sources configured to emit X-rays to a subject, at least one detector provided on the rotation device and configured to detect X-rays passing through the subject, and one or more processors. The at least one processors are configured to rotate the rotation device in a first rotation direction by an angle of rotation determined based on a total number of the plurality of light sources, emit X-rays to the subject and detect X-rays passing through the subject during the rotation of the rotation device in the first rotation direction, and rotate the rotation device by the determined rotation angle in a second rotation direction.

摘要: This application is directed to systems, methods, and devices for image based analysis of plaque. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for developing treatment plans, which can include local treatment, systemic treatment, or both. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for stent selection. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for surgical planning, which can include robotic surgical planning. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for image normalization. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for identifying plaque calcification thresholds. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for identifying thin cap fibroatheroma. In some embodiments, the approaches herein can be used for coronary artery tree reconstruction. Some embodiments are directed to coronary artery disease risk stratification.

摘要: An extra-oral dental imaging apparatus for obtaining an image from a patient has a radiation source and a digital imaging sensor that provides, for each of a number of image pixels, at least a first digital value according to a count of received photons that exceed at least a first energy threshold. A mount supports the radiation source and the digital imaging sensor on opposite sides of the patient's head. There can be a computer in signal communication with the digital imaging sensor for acquiring one or more two-dimensional images.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for computed tomography (CT) imaging. In one embodiment, a method comprises adaptively blending at least two input image volumes with different spatially-variant noise characteristics to generate an output image volume with uniform noise throughout the output image volume. In this way, images may be reconstructed from projection data with data redundancy without introducing image artifacts from stitching images or variance in image noise due to the data redundancy.

摘要: An imaging system and methods including a gantry defining a bore and an imaging axis extending through the bore, and at least one support member that supports the gantry such that the imaging axis has a generally vertical orientation, where the gantry is displaceable with respect to the at least one support member in a generally vertical direction. The imaging system may be configured to obtain a vertical imaging scan (e.g., a helical x-ray CT scan), of a patient in a weight-bearing position. The gantry may be rotatable between a first position, in which the gantry is supported such that the imaging axis has a generally vertical orientation, and a second position, such that the imaging axis has a generally horizontal orientation. The gantry may be displaceable in a horizontal direction and the system may perform a horizontal scan of a patient or object positioned within the bore.

摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for generating a corrected image are provided. A first robotic arm may be configured to orient a source at a first pose and a second robotic arm may be configured to orient a detector at a plurality of second poses. An image dataset may be received from the detector at each of the plurality of second poses to yield a plurality of image datasets. The plurality of datasets may comprise an initial image having a scatter effect. The plurality of image datasets may be saved. A scatter correction may be determined and configured to correct the scatter effect. The correction may be applied to the initial image to correct the scatter effect.

摘要: An X-ray imaging system using multiple pulsed X-ray sources in motion to perform high efficient and ultrafast 3D radiography is presented. There are multiple pulsed X-ray sources mounted on a structure in motion to form an array of sources. The multiple X-ray sources move simultaneously relative to an object on a pre-defined arc track at a constant speed as a group. Each individual X-ray source can also move rapidly around its static position in a small distance. When an X-ray source has a speed that is equal to group speed but with opposite moving direction, the X-ray source and X-ray flat panel detector are activated through an external exposure control unit so that source stay momentarily standstill. It results in much reduced source travel distance for each X-ray source. 3D scan can cover much wider sweep angle in much shorter time and image analysis can also be done in real-time.
