    摘要: A plasma generator 1 includes: a liquid storage section 4 that stores a liquid containing water; a gas storage section 5 that stores a gas; a partition 3 provided with a gas passage 3a to introduce the gas in the gas storage section 5 into the liquid storage section 4 and separating the liquid storage section 4 from the gas storage section 5; a first electrode 12 provided in the gas storage section 5; and a second electrode 13 separated from the first electrode 12 and provided in a manner such that at least the portion coupled with the first electrode 12 is in contact with the liquid in the liquid storage section 4. A predetermined voltage is applied between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13 while the second electrode 13 is grounded.

    摘要: A plasma generator 1 includes a first electrode 12 provided in a gas storage section 5; and a second electrode 13 separated from the first electrode 12 and provided in a manner such that at least the portion coupled with the first electrode 12 is in contact with a liquid 17 in a liquid storage section 4. Electric discharge is caused between the first electrode 12 and the second electrode 13 so as to produce plasma in a gas region in the liquid 17 in the liquid storage section and produce hydroxyl radical from water contained in the liquid 17 and oxygen contained in the gas. A voltage controller 60 controls a voltage applied by a plasma power source 15 depending on conditions.

    摘要: A compact valve using a shape memory alloy comprises: a moving valve body that contacts an inner periphery of a guide pipe having an built-in orifice, is freely movable and has a sealing portion to seal the orifice; a biasing coil provided between the orifice and the moving valve body; and a wire formed of a shape memory alloy and held between a stationary electrode of the guide pipe and a moving electrode of the moving valve body. The orifice is sealed by moving the moving valve body due to transformation of the shape memory alloy by heating the wire. The moving valve body is enabled to be elastically deformable by providing a coil spring to reduce a stress, so that an overload to the moving valve body due to contraction of the wire is absorbed by elastic deformation of the moving valve body. Thereby, the overload to the shape memory alloy is reduced to prevent deterioration of repeatability of memorized shape, to increase durability and reliability of the valve.

    摘要: Arrangement of connection points of sampling switches to video bus lines within a signal line drive circuit 200 is improved such that connection points of video buses (SVn1 to SVn6) supplied with positive-polarity video signals relative to a predetermined reference potential and video buses (SVp1 to SVp6) supplied with negative-polarity video signals to analog switches (SWn11 to SWn22 and SWp11 to SWp22) make substantially symmetric patterns in the extending direction of the video buses. Since the sum of lengths of connection wirings belonging to a switch pair and their total resistance value becomes substantially equal in all switch pairs, the effective vales of shift amounts in signal line potentials are substantially flattened. Therefore, here is provided a drive circuit built-in liquid crystal display device realizing a good imaging quality removing noise such as stripe-shaped imaging defects which may occur when video signals are supplied to analog switches through a plurality of video buses.
