Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed herein for unified tracking data management. An example method is performed at a device with a display and one or more input devices, the method including: displaying a user interface with two or more sets of tracking-data configuration options associated with a plurality of websites, the sets including: a first tracking-data configuration option that, when selected, causes the device to block all of the plurality of websites from storing tracking data; and a second tracking-data configuration option that, when selected, causes the computing device to limit receipt by all of the plurality of websites of information associated with device. While displaying the user interface, the method includes: receiving a selection of the first tracking-data configuration option; and, in response, causing the computing device to block all of the plurality of websites from storing tracking data of at least the first type on the computing device.

Abstract: An electronic device displays a media capture user interface that includes a media capture preview of objects in a field of view of the camera. While displaying the media capture user interface, the electronic device scans the field of view of the camera for data encoded in an optical machine-readable format. In accordance with a determination that the field of view of the camera includes data encoded in the optical machine-readable format that meets respective notification criteria, the electronic device displays a notification that indicates that the camera application has detected data encoded in the optical machine-readable format. In accordance with a determination that the field of view of the camera does not include data encoded in the optical machine-readable format that meets the respective notification criteria, the electronic device maintains display of the media capture user interface of the camera application without displaying the notification.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that performs a search using a plurality of application states is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the device receives a plurality of application states from a plurality of applications running on a device. The device further creates an index of the plurality of application states. In addition, the device receives a query to search for data stored on the device. Furthermore, the device searches the plurality of application states using the index and the query. The device additionally determines a match for the query of one of the plurality of the application states and returns the match for the matching application state.

Each tracking data item may be accessible for one of the domains. Abstract: In some implementations, a website can be certified by a push notification service operator to send push notifications to user devices. A web browser on the user's device can communicate with the website to advertise the user device's ability to receive push notifications. The website can provide to the web browser a certificate indicating that the website is authorized to utilize the push notification service. If the certificate is valid and has not been revoked, the browser can prompt the user to allow push notifications from the website. If the user authorizes push notifications, a device token can be provided to the website that allows the website to send push notifications to the user device through the push notification service. In some implementations, the web browser can be configured to provide websites access to APIs for accessing information stored on a user device.
