Abstract: [Issue] An objective of providing an airbag device enabling efficiently suppressing injury of the occupant during an emergency.
[Resolution Means] A representative structure of the airbag device 100 according to the present invention includes an inflator 112 that is installed on a vehicle and is able to supply gas, an airbag cushion 104 that expands and deploys in front of the seating position of the vehicle occupant based on the gas, and at least one internal tether 116 with a first end 122 connected to the seating position side inside the airbag cushion 104 and a second end 124 connected to the vehicle front side inside the airbag cushion 104. The airbag cushion 104 is characterized by a recessed concave part 114 formed through pulling of the internal tether 116 on the center of the seating position side.

Abstract: An occupant protecting device provided inside or below a seat cushion of a vehicle seat, including an airbag cushion, an inflator, and a cover that covers at least a portion of the airbag cushion and is capable of being cleaved opened by the expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion. The airbag cushion has front and rear attaching points attached to the vehicle seat side as well as an expanding and deploying part that at least expands and deploys between the front and rear attaching points. The cover has a weak portion that serves as a starting point when cleaved open by expansion and deployment of the airbag cushion and is arranged on a rearward side. The cover covers the front attaching points side of the expanding and deploying part and is attached to the vehicle seat on the front attaching points side.

Abstract: An airbag that includes an inner bag having a facing surface configured to face a passenger of a vehicle in the deployed state, an outer bag that surrounds the outer periphery of the inner bag with the facing surface exposed, and two protrusion parts which are provided in the outer bag and are respectively disposed on the left and right sides in the width direction of the vehicle with respect to the facing surface so as to protrude rearward. The inner bag and the outer bag may be partitioned by a common partition wall, with a ventilation port formed in the partition wall. Moreover, the inner bag and the outer bag may each be independent bag bodies, a ventilation port may be formed in both the inner bag and the outer bag, and the inner bag and the outer bag may be coupled around the ventilation port.

Abstract: An airbag apparatus with a cushion that expands and deploys from in front of a seat is provided. The cushion includes a front restraining part that restrains a head of a passenger from the front of a vehicle. The cushion further includes protrusion parts that are provided beside the front restraining part in the width direction of the vehicle and protrude and expand further towards the rear of the vehicle than the front restraining part. Inner tethers inside the cushion are connected to the front restraining part and to which tension is applied to pull the front restraining part towards the front of the vehicle. Outer tethers are connected to the protrusion parts and to which tension is applied to pull the protrusion parts towards the front of the vehicle. When tension is applied to the inner tethers, force towards the inner tethers is applied to the outer tethers.
