摘要： A wheeled vehicle having the appearance of an insect, such as a spider, includes a main body portion housing a drive mechanism for propelling the vehicle across a suitable supporting surface. The drive mechanism is shiftable for operating a cord winch for pulling the vehicle or drawing objects toward the mouth of the spider. A plurality of legs are mounted to the body portion by flexible couplings which permit the legs to engage the supporting surface so that they move randomly, during movement of the vehicle, to simulate a crawling action. A cockpit provided on the rear portion of the body is covered by a transparent shield and provided with indicia to define the control quarters of a mechanical spider device.

摘要： An amusement game device includes an endless loop of elongated flexible cord having an upper and a lower run. A first pulley assembly is provided to support one end of the loop and is adapted to be connected to a relatively fixed object such as a door or piece of furniture. A hand held, movable control pulley assembly is provided to support the opposite end of the loop and includes a manually rotatable sheave for moving the cord of the runs toward and away from the fixed object. A trolley is supported for movement on the cord of one of the runs of the loop to move back and forth in response to rotation of the hand held pulley. A toy aerial balloon is carried by the trolley and includes a basket with a grappling hook hanging downwardly thereof for picking up various play objects in the surrounding play area as the aerial balloon is moved around by changing the position of the hand held control pulley and by rotating the control pulley to move a balloon back and forth along the run of the loop. Additionally, a releasable aerial toy such as a glider is supported from the trolley in ready position for release to free-flight when the trolley is moved to contact a stop which may be secured at any desired position along the length of the cord loop. During play, the hand held control pulley assembly is manipulated to control the position of the aerial balloon and grappling hook over the play area to pick up and carry various play objects included in the game apparatus.

摘要： A game apparatus includes a generally vertically oriented rotatable shaft mounted on a base and a playing object pivotally connected to the top of the shaft for operator controlled movement. A drive mechanism is mounted within the base and includes first and second plates mounted for reciprocal translatory movement. The second plate includes a longitudinal slot surrounding a drive gear or ratchet secured to the shaft. The slot includes opposing ratchet teeth pitched in opposite directions for alternate engagement with the drive gear. The second plate is connected to the first plate for relative movement such that one set of ratchet teeth engages the gear upon reciprocal movement of the first plate in a first direction and the other set of ratchet teeth engages the gear upon movement of the first plate in a second direction to rotate the drive gear in a single selected direction. The playing object includes a tiltable arm secured to the top of the shaft and a toy airplane on one end of the arm and a centrifugally operated weight on the other end that varies the elevation of the toy airplane relative to the base in proportion to the speed of rotation of the shaft.

A pair of front and rear wheels are provided for supporting the body for movement over the playing surface and a pair of pick up members are mounted for rotation in the mouth and are driven independently by the front wheels for engaging the objects on the playing surface and moving them upwardly onto the bottom wall of the body through the open mouth. A deflectable tongue is provided to extend downwardly towards the bottom wall for retaining the objects that are picked up once they are positioned on the bottom wall in the vehicle body.

摘要： A target game of the type wherein a target image is movingly projected upon a screen for simulated shooting by a gun assembly. The target game generally includes a target projecting assembly for randomly exhibiting a moving target onto the screen and for giving an indication of a successful hit. A gun assembly is movably mounted over the target projecting assembly for selectively exhibiting a hit area on the screen and for causing the target projecting assembly to indicate a hit, along with a drive assembly. The target projecting assembly includes a first projector having a film holder which is movable between a "normal" position wherein a target image is presented for projection and a "hit" position wherein an explosion image is presented for projection. The target projecting assembly also includes a hit actuating member associated with the film holder to move the holder from its normal position to its hit position. The gun assembly includes a second projector for projecting a hit area on the screen and a trigger assembly a portion of which is adapted to engage the hit actuating member when said hit actuating member and trigger portion are aligned and the trigger assembly is depressed. If this occurs, the hit actuating member moves the film strip holder from its normal position to its hit position.

摘要： A rope jumping device, including a rope having opposite ends, a platform and an elongated handle. The arm is rotatably mounted on the handle near one end thereof. An anchor is pivotally connected to the platform. One end of the rope is connected to the arm and the other end is connected to the anchor. The rope is of sufficient length such that a user, when standing on the platform, will be able to hold the handle above his or her head. Manipulation of the handle by rotation when the handle is elevated above the head of the user causes rotation of the arm, the rope and the anchor, with the rope describing a generally hyperbolic path above the pivotal connection of the anchor to the base. The arm is mounted on the handle for limited longitudinal movement relative to one end of the handle in addition to rotational mounting on the handle.

摘要： A target shooting apparatus including an operator controlled simulated gun which projects a light beam of short duration toward a target each time the trigger is actuated. The simulated gun must be cocked between each "shot" which also resets a recoiling mechanism to give a true to life operational effect to the gun. The target includes a frame fronted by a simulated fence on top of which a plurality of objects, such as bottles, tin cans, and the like may be placed. A target impeller is provided on the frame in proximity to each of the objects so that, when actuated, the impeller will cause physical movement of the associated target knocking it off of the frame. The target impellers are actuated by a control mechanism, as a photo transistor therein senses the proper alignment of the light beam from the gun through one of a plurality of apertures located on the frame below each of the objects. The control mechanism is slidably mounted on a downwardly canted guide rail by a carriage which moves from one target impeller to the next lower target impeller after actuation thereof. After all of the objects have been hit, the carriage is manually moved back to the top of the rail guide and each of the target impellers is manually reset for another play of the game.
