    摘要: A shooting simulation system and method. The system includes a plurality of firearms. Each firearm is associated with a separate soldier having a man-worn computer, a location device for determining a location of the soldier, an optical system for capturing an image where the captured image provides information on a trajectory of a virtual bullet fired from a shooting firearm, and an orientation device for obtaining the orientation of the firearm when shooting the firearm. Furthermore, the system includes an aerial drone having a camera to capture a second image. The system also includes a shooter/target location resolution module for identifying a valid target and a target image recognition module for determining an impact location where a virtual bullet from the shooting firearm would impact within the captured images and determining if an identified target from the captured images is a hit or a miss.

The device may further comprise omnidirectional infrared receivers, flex sensors, lights, speakers, or vibration motors. In other embodiments the gaming device may further comprise a battery, a charging, one or more trigger buttons, one or more control buttons, a display screen, microprocessors, and a wireless transceiver. In other embodiments the infrared emitter comprises a lens and an infrared LED. In other embodiments the gaming device may further comprise a quiver device configured to permit a user to reload shots during the game.

    摘要: A device combining a gun and target for facilitating a game of tag using infrared light communications between a two or more players is provided. The device includes two infrared transmitters and two infrared receivers and a shaped housing facilitating handling of the device by a user. The housing includes a grip portion with a finger-operable trigger, a barrel portion and a user-interface including a display and a keypad for programming the device and controlling various game and device functions. A first infrared transmitter transmits a directional infrared signal to another game participant and a first infrared receiver receives an acknowledgment signal therefrom in response to the transmitted directional signal. A second infrared transmitter and second infrared receiver facilitate omni-directional two-way communications between two or more devices before, during, and after a game of infrared electronic tag allowing functions such as game setup, player identification and gameplay analysis. An accessory device for single player video game play using the gun as a controller is also provided.

The intensity of light included in a particular wavelength region around a toy is detected by an optical sensor 27. If the detected amount of light included in the particular wavelength region is large, an infrared ray signal generating section 31 increases the intensity of the infrared ray signal to be generated, whereas if the detected amount of light included in the particular wavelength region is small, the infrared signal generating section 31 decreases the intensity of the infrared ray signal to be generated. This prevents the infrared ray signal reception capability from being affected by the light included in the particular wavelength region around the toy.

    摘要: A gaming device, wherein a player's skill at an action or event determines the player's success or failure in the round. The game is readily adaptable to becoming a pseudo-skill game that would be required in most gaming jurisdictions. In one pseudo-skill embodiment, the skill game is converted to a game employing skill, but which is controlled by a set number of successful outcomes. That is, the player keeps playing until the player's skill produces the set number of successful outcomes. In another pseudo-skill embodiment, the game only appears to the player as involving skill. Instead, the gaming device randomly determines when and how many times to produce a successful outcome and increase the player's award.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and a method for providing more realistic shooting input for shooting video games on computers or similar devices is provided. The apparatus may be comprised of a mock shooting device, such as a gun, having a lighting device containing a plurality of light sources. The apparatus may also include a screen device for displaying visual target objects of a video shooting game, at which a game player can shoot at with the mock shooting device, a video camera that captures video images of the mock shooting device, and a computing device that computes the hit position of the mock shooting device on the screen device based on the captured video images. The determined hit position can then be fed to the video shooting game software run by the computing device which can determine if a visual target object is actually hit or not, and reacts accordingly. The system and method can be extended to a plurality of game players using mock shooting devices with different colored lighting devices so that a plurality of hit positions for different colors may be determined.

    摘要: An apparatus, system, and a method for providing more realistic shooting input for shooting video games on computers or similar devices is provided.
