The present invention provides an image processing apparatus including a shooting scene setting unit, a component image acquiring unit, and a time-lapse moving image generating unit. The shooting scene setting unit sets a shooting interval according to shooting situations or shooting setting and selects one of different methods for generating a time-lapse moving image from a plurality of images obtained at the set shooting interval according to shooting situations or shooting setting. The component image acquiring unit obtains a plurality of component images forming a time-lapse moving image based on the time-lapse moving image generating method set by the shooting scene setting unit. The time-lapse moving image generating unit generates a time-lapse moving image by using the plurality of component images obtained by the component image acquiring unit based on the set time-lapse moving image generating method.

A digital camera includes an image capturing unit, an image composition unit, and a display control unit. The image capturing unit captures frames at predetermined time intervals. The image composition unit sequentially combines at least a part of image data from image data of a plurality of frames sequentially captured by the image capturing unit at predetermined time intervals. The display control unit performs control to sequentially display image data combined by the image composition unit while the image data of the frames are captured by the image capturing unit at predetermined time intervals.

Provided is an information processing method, a program, and an information processing device capable of limiting a warning function more appropriately. The information processing method performed by a computer includes: determining whether an execution condition is satisfied, the execution condition including at least one of a first condition related to the length of time during which a warning is generated by a predetermined normal warning function as a warning function related to an exercise state of a subject when performing a certain exercise; a second condition related to the fatigue level of the subject; a third condition that the content of the certain exercise being performed by the subject is not a certain content; a fourth condition related to the possibility of achieving the goal related to the certain exercise of the subject; and a fifth condition related to an athletic ability of the subject; and performing a limiting process of controlling the warning function so that the warning is more limited than in the case of the normal warning function, on the condition that the execution condition is satisfied.

An information recording apparatus includes a processor. The processor obtains index information representing a lapse situation after a start of movement. The processor obtains either of a time elapsed from the start of movement and a distance passing from a start point of movement. The processor controls, by using either of the elapsed time and the passing distance, to obtain the index information to, as either of a lapse of time from the start of movement and the distance passing from the start point of movement increases, decrease a frequency of obtainment of the index information at the start of movement or from the start point of movement. The processor records the obtained index information.

Problem: To simplify an operation for causing an apparatus to perform desired control.Solution to Problem: In an image capturing apparatus 1, an image capturing unit 16 continuously captures an image of a subject and sequentially outputs image data. An image analysis unit 53 determines whether or not there is an instruction regarding storage of the image data outputted by the image capturing unit 16. A storage control unit 56 carries out control to store the image data outputted from the image capturing unit 16 in a storage unit 19 upon it being determined that there is an instruction regarding storage. An output control unit 51 carries out control to display, in an output unit 18, a live view image corresponding to the image data sequentially outputted by the image capturing unit 16 along with a first indicator image for processing the stored image data. An image analysis unit 53 determines whether or not a position of the image of the subject in the live view image displayed in the output unit 18 overlaps with a position of the first indicator image, and when it is determined that the images overlap, predetermined processing is carried out on the image data stored in the storage unit 19.

A live view image generation unit sequentially displays on a display screen a captured image that is sequentially outputted from an image capture unit as a live view image. In a case of photographing and recording being directed, a review image generation unit displays a captured image for recording outputted from the image capture unit as a first review image on a portion of a display screen in a state of displaying the live view image. A photographing result evaluation unit evaluates a photographing result based on a captured image for recording outputted from the image capture unit according to an direction for photographing and recording. The review image generation unit performs display control to make a display form of the first review image different according to the evaluation result by the photographing result evaluation unit.
