    摘要: A visual quoting system that includes a client device and a server connected to a database containing product and price quoting data for various window treatments as well as 3-D image and animation files. The client device includes a camera and user interface and obtains a real-world video stream of a room having windows and a user interface to receive user selections for the windows or window banks for which window treatment is desired along with window treatment pre-selections for type, color, material, components, and manufacturer. The client device communicates the dimensions and preferences to the server, which uses them to query the database for responsive options. The server sends product, pricing, and 3-D image data to the client device. The client device obtains a user selection of a responsive option and inserts the 3-D image data for that option into the real-world video stream showing the option in the room at the location of the selected window or window bank. The client device records a real-world video capture of the room with the inserted 3-D image contained therein, including at various light conditions and points of view, and an animation of the window treatment going between an open and closed position. The client device communicates a link to the recorded video along with a prepared quote to the customer for signature and purchase.

A possible range of a quantization parameter applied in a case where the video is compressed is made different in the first video capturing mode and the second video capturing mode with different capturing conditions. The quantization parameter is determined within a first range in a case of the first video capturing mode, and the quantization parameter is determined within a second range narrower than the first range in a case of the second video capturing mode. In particular, a second upper limit value of the second range is smaller than a first upper limit value of the first range, and a second lower limit value of the second range is larger than a first lower limit value of the first range.

    摘要: A system and method limit the scope of video analytics performed by a processor with limited processing power, such as an edge processor in communication with multiple imaging devices disposed within a monitored area. According to one embodiment, the processor accesses image data from each image capture device and performs non-operational video analytics to detect objects within the respective image data. The processor compares the detected objects in the respective image data over one or more time lapse periods. Based on results of the comparisons, the processor determines parameters for configuration files for the image capture devices, where each configuration file includes parameters for adjusting the respective image capture device to capture images of one or more particular areas of interest within the monitored area and/or disabling a transfer of image data from the respective image capture device. The processor communicates each configuration file to its respective image capture device.
