One embodiment provides a method of displaying hover assistance on a display screen. The method comprises moving a pointer element to a position over a user interface element shown on the display screen in response to user manipulation of a pointing device, while the pointer element is positioned over the user interface element, invoking a first hover element for display on the display screen, and invoking a second hover element for display on the display screen after invoking the first hover element, and while the pointer element continues to be positioned over the user interface element.

摘要： A method, apparatus, system, and signal-bearing medium that in an embodiment present a main view and at least one peek view of data. When the user selects to move the data from the main view to the peek view, a subset of data objects in the main view is selected based on an importance of the data objects and optionally based on the size of the peek view. The subset is copied to the peek view, and the peek view is dynamically updated when the data objects are updated. In this way, the user can monitor changes to the peek view while working on other data in the main view.

摘要： A method and digital video recorder (DVR) mechanism that (1) filters out added graphical content that a user/viewer does not wish to view during live feed and/or playback of a recorded program, (2) adds graphical content to a live feed and/or recorded program, and (3) enables manipulation of graphical content for display with live feed and/or recorded programs. The logic/functionality of the DVR is enhanced to include features/functionality that allows the viewer to filter/add/manipulate certain graphical content (and its associated audio) from/to/within the program being displayed on the display screen. The received broadcast content contains identifying information about the graphical content, separate from the identifying information of the program content that that would allow the DVR functionality to identify and filter out certain (or all) aspects of the graphics. Different types of graphical content have different identifiers, so that the viewer is able to selectively filter out or add or manipulate one type of graphical content independent of the other(s).

In one embodiment, the method comprises accessing an attribute of the electronic document, wherein the attribute is specifically and solely configured to reflect the primary predefined purpose of the electronic document, determining whether the attribute indicates that a status of the primary predefined purpose has changed, and displaying a change notification when the status of the primary predefined purpose has changed. The determining step may comprise storing a first status of the predefined purpose of the electronic document and a first associated time stamp, receiving a second status of the predefined purpose and a second associated time stamp and comparing the first status to the second status.

摘要： An electronic pressure sensor is incorporated into a discharge pressure portion of a compressor. If the pressure sensor indicates that the discharge pressure exceeds a maximum value, the operation of the compressor motor is stopped. The pressure sensor preferably sends an electronic signal to a microprocessor such that the pressure can be compared to a predetermined maximum value. The pressure sensor includes a transducer to change the sensed pressure to a voltage value. The microprocessor communicates with a first switch, which may be a triac switch, and which stops operation of the compressor motor should an undesirably high value be detected. In addition, a second switch communicates with a comparing circuit which ensures the voltage from the pressure sensor is between a minimum and maximum value. The purpose of the comparing circuit is to ensure proper operation of the pressure sensor and its associated circuit.
