    Abstract: An organic light-emitting device and an organic light-emitting display having the same are provided. The organic light-emitting device comprises: an organic light-emitting diode emitting light using an output current; a storage capacitor for receiving a data voltage from a data line, and storing the received data voltage; a driving thin film transistor connected between a source voltage and the organic light-emitting diode and having a gate connected to one terminal of the storage capacitor; a first switching unit connected between the one terminal of the storage capacitor and the data line and having a gate connected with a first scan line; a second switching unit connected between the other terminal of the storage capacitor and an initialization voltage line and having a gate connected with the first scan line; and a third switching unit connected between the other terminal of the storage capacitor and the data line and having a gate connected with a second scan line.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting display that is capable of preventing degradation of picture quality, and a method of manufacturing the organic light emitting display are provided. A unit pixel for the organic light emitting display, includes a first transistor coupled to a data line and having a first voltage threshold, a second transistor coupled to the first and third transistors and controlled by a second select signal, a third transistor coupled to the first transistor and controlled by a first select signal, and a fourth transistor coupled to the third transistor and having a fourth voltage threshold such that a drive current of the fourth transistor is controlled independent of the fourth voltage threshold.

    Abstract: An earthing device which needs not be buried under the ground is provided. The earthing device includes an earthing panel and a discharging device mounted inside the earthing panel. The discharging device includes at least one electrode plate, multiple discharging electrodes coupled to the electrode plate, and catalyst filled between the discharging electrodes. Since an earth electrode needs not be buried under the ground, it requires less construction costs, time and area, and environmental pollution (especially, soil pollution) does not happen. Further, the earthing device can be simply and economically installed regardless of place.

    Abstract: An organic light emitting diode device includes a substrate having first and second surfaces and a diode on the first surface of the substrate. The diode includes a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode and an organic emitting layer between the first and second electrodes. Light is emitted from the diode toward the first and second surfaces of the substrate. A brightness compensation plate having a thickness that varies across a length of the plate is disposed on the second surface of the substrate for transmitting the light. The brightness compensation plate may improve a uniformity of a brightness of the organic light emitting diode device.
