Abstract: Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of wireless communications, and in particular, to a method and a device for performing carrier scheduling, which are used to perform scheduling for an unlicensed carrier. In the embodiments of the present application, a terminal performs uplink channel measurement in an uplink subframe or an uplink measurement time period of an unlicensed carrier, to determine uplink channel quality information, and/or performs downlink channel measurement in a downlink subframe of the unlicensed carrier, to determine downlink channel quality information; and the terminal notifies a network side device of the determined uplink channel quality information, and the network side device determines, according to the received uplink channel quality information, whether to perform uplink scheduling on the terminal on the unlicensed carrier, and the terminal notifies the network side device of the determined downlink channel quality information, so that the network side device determines, according to the received downlink channel quality information, whether to perform downlink scheduling on the terminal on the unlicensed carrier. In this way, scheduling is implemented for the unlicensed carrier, thereby further improving system performance.

Abstract: The method of transmitting a discovery signal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: determining whether a channel in an unlicensed frequency band is idle; transmitting the discovery signal in the channel in the unlicensed frequency band during a current cycle of a discovery signal transmission period if the channel in the unlicensed frequency band is determined to be idle; and not transmitting the discovery signal in the channel in the unlicensed frequency band during the current cycle if the channel in the unlicensed frequency band is determined to be not idle.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a channel monitoring method and a channel monitoring device, to achieve the channel resource contention for an LTE system in the case that it operates on an unlicensed carrier. The channel monitoring method includes steps of: determining, by a device, a starting time point of CCA detection for monitoring a channel before data transmission and a required duration within which a CCA detection result indicates that the channel is clear; and monitoring, by the device, the channel on an unlicensed frequency band in accordance with the starting time point and the required duration.

Abstract: Disclosed are a signal processing method, a base station, a terminal, and a system. A base station side method comprises: sending a synchronization signal to a terminal through a predetermined first time-frequency resource; sending a supplemental synchronization signal different from the synchronization signal to the terminal through a predetermined second time-frequency resource, the synchronization signal and the supplemental synchronization signal being corresponding to a same physical layer cell identifier. In the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention, in addition to that the synchronization signal is sent, the supplemental synchronization signal is also sent, and it is equivalent to increase of the transmission frequency of the synchronization signal. In a case where the network coverage is poor, the increase of the transmission frequency of the synchronization signal can increase the probability that the terminal completes cell searching by performing relevant detection on the same number of signals, so as to not only shorten the time required by the terminal to perform cell searching, but also decrease the amount of data buffered by the terminal, thereby decreasing the requirements on the buffer of the terminal.
