Abstract:
A water-penetrable drip irrigation pipe includes: a buffer tube having a water-penetrable fibrous core member clad in the buffer tube which is lengthwise formed in a main pipe as contiguous to an inside wall of the main pipe, having a plurality of water inlet holes respectively spaced apart and longitudinally formed in a bottom of the buffer tube to communicate with an interior in the main pipe, and a plurality of drip outlet holes longitudinally formed in the main pipe, whereby the water flowing in the interior of the main pipe will penetrate the fibrous core member in the buffer tube to be filtered by and frictionally dampened by the fibrous core member for discharging clean irrigation drips having decreased pressure.
Abstract:
A process for making metal-matrix composites includes: purging a refining chamber filled with molten metal matrix in a furnace by an inert gas such as nitrogen gas; filling a reinforcing material, preferably with particulates, in a bucket suspended above the molten metal matrix filled in the furnace; applying a forced drafting on the reinforcing material in the bucket for subsequently upwardly drafting the reinforcing material from the bucket; and downwarddly forcing the uprising reinforcing material to be homogeneously distributed into the molten metal matrix under homogeneous agitation, for producing a metal-matrix composite reinforced with reinforcing material in a closed system wherein the nitrogen gas is served merely for Initially purging the air outwardly from the system, not being consumed continuously in order for greatly saving the nitrogen consumption and reducing the production cost thereof.
Abstract:
A cleaner structure includes a main body, a forced element and an elastic element. The main body includes a first casing, a floating element, a second casing, first perforations and second perforations. The floating element is disposed within the first casing. The second casing is connected with the first casing for storing a cleaning agent. The elastic element is connected with the first casing and the forced element. During the water level of the liquid inside the toilet tank is changed from a low level to a high level, the second casing is at least partially immersed in the liquid, so that the cleaning agent is released to the liquid.

An optical film comprising: a transparent supporting (or base) layer; a prismatic layer consisting of a plurality of prisms integrally formed on the supporting layer; and a plurality of micro-lenses integrally formed on a plurality of prismatic faces of the prisms, whereby the incidence lights as refracted through the micro-lenses on the prisms will be refracted to be an outgoing light approximating the on-axes of the prisms, thereby increasing the on-axis brightness of the optical film.

Abstract:
A multiple-layer optical film comprises: a supporting layer; a printable intermediate thin layer formed on the supporting layer; and an upper structured-surface or upper prismatic layer formed on the printable intermediate layer. The intermediate thin layer is imprinted with a plurality of notches recessed in the intermediate thin layer to be respectively engaged with a plurality of lower protrusions protruding downwardly from the upper layer for firmly interlocking the upper layer with the intermediate layer which is formed on the supporting layer.
Abstract:
A fabrication method of a nanoimprint mold core includes providing a substrate having a photo phase change surface; performing a phase change on the photo phase change surface to form at least one first area and at least one second area; at least partially removing the first area to form a nano pattern; performing an imprinting process using the substrate having the nano pattern; and performing a mold release process so as to obtain the mold core. This achieves the advantages of low cost, high yield, and easy fabrication of the mold core.
Abstract:
A heat dissipating device includes: a barrel having a plurality of fins circumferentially formed on a barrel wall; a buckle secured on a first end portion of the barrel to be fastened to a base board of a central processing unit (CPU); a cooling fan provided at a second end portion of the barrel for directing cooling air through the barrel wall and the fins for dissipating heat outwardly as emitted from the CPU which is adhered to the first end portion of the barrel; a vaporizable coolant filled in the barrel; and a transfer member fixed in the barrel for conducting the heat from the CPU to the vaporizable coolant for vaporizing the coolant in order to greatly absorb a vaporization heat during the phase change from the liquid coolant to the coolant vapor, whereby upon contact of the coolant vapor with the barrel wall as cooled by the cooling fan, the coolant vapor will be condensed to liberate the condensation heat which will soon be dissipated through the barrel wall and the fins by the cooling air as delivered from the fan for efficiently cooling the central processing unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus for making metal-matrix composite includes a feeding container filled with a suspension liquid in the suspending an ultrafine reinforcing material having a particle size as fine as 0.05 .mu.m in a suspension liquid in the container, a refining furnace filled with a molten metal alloy matrix in the refining furnace with the suspension liquid of the ultrafine reinforcing material homogeneously dispersed in the metal alloy matrix for producing a metal-matrix composite by a refining process, which is degassed by inserting a degassing pipe in the furnace to remove gases to eliminate porosity in the composite, thereby producing a metal-matrix composite having improved mechanical properties.
