A compound having the formula ##STR1## wherein A denotes an optionally substituted aromatic, isocyclic or heterocyclic residue; R is H, an alkyl residue having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, an aryl residue having from 6 to 10 carbon atoms or an aralkyl residue having from 7 to 10 carbon atoms; Q is H or a methyl group; X and Y are the same or different and each is a non-water solubilizing group, or X and Y together form a fused aromatic ring system; and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different and each is H or an alkyl radical having from 1 to 22 carbon atoms, and R.sub.3 is hydrogen, an alkyl radical having from 1 to 22 carbon atoms or an aryl radical having from 6 to 10 carbon atoms, the alkyl radicals in R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 being unsubstituted and uninterrupted or being substituted by an OH, NH.sub.2 or CN group and/or being interrupted by an ethylenic group or an oxygen, sulphur or nitrogen bridge, or two or all three of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 may form, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, a heterocyclic residue, is useful for pigmenting high molecular weight organic material such as a natural or synthetic polymer or copolymer, or a coating composition for application to the surface of an article, or a printing liquid medium to yield shades from greenish yellow to red brown, exhibiting good fastness properties.

A simple and positive drill steel retainer comprises a retainer and a latch. The retainer cannot be opened until the latch is disengaged. The latch is held in the engaged position by a spring. The retainer and latch can be easily operated with one hand.

A crescent shaped support cover for an elongate material reclamation mechanism in a granular or powdered material storage enclosure, the support cover comprising: a first elongate tube having a longitudinal opening formed in its side along the full length of the tube; a second elongate tube having a longitudinal opening formed in its side along the full length of the tube, the longitudinal opening having a width that is approximately equal to the width of the longitudinal opening in the first tube, the second tube being larger in cross-section than the first tube, and the first tube being longitudinally disposed within the second tube such that the longitudinal openings of the first tube and the second tube are aligned, the first tube being continuously attached to the second tube along the edges of the longitudinal openings, forming an elongate structure defining a partially open elongate tubular space within the first tube suitable for partially enclosing an elongate auger, and defining an enclosed cross-sectionally substantially crescent shaped space between the outside surface of the first tube and the inside surface of the second tube, the elongate structure configured to function as both an auger cover and a load-bearing structural support member for an elongate material reclamation mechanism.

The present invention provides a process for the production of dimethylaminomethyl copper phthalocyanine having an average of 1 to 4 dimethylaminomethyl groups per molecule which comprises reacting aminomethyl copper phthalocyanine having an average of 1 to 4 aminomethyl groups per molecule with formaldehyde and aqueous formic acid at a concentration of 2 to 60%, at atmospheric pressure, and at an elevated temperature.
