    摘要: A technical problem of the present invention is to provide a condensed polycyclic organic pigment having excellent dispersion properties and dispersion stability. More specifically, the technical problem of the present invention is to provide a condensed polycyclic organic pigment in which a practically sufficient viscosity is achieved in terms of both the initial viscosity of a base ink and the viscosity over time of a base ink when used in the printing ink application. As a result of thorough studies on the surface state of organic pigment particles and interaction among components constituting a printing ink, it has been found that the technical problem can be solved by using a polyvalent metal inorganic salt in a condensed polycyclic organic pigment, thus accomplishing the present invention.

    摘要: A photoelectric conversion element includes a transparent conductive film, a conductive film, and a photoelectric conversion layer and an electron-blocking layer disposed between the transparent conductive film and the conductive film. The photoelectric conversion layer includes a condensed polycyclic hydrocarbon which contains at least 5 benzene rings, of which a total number of rings is 7 or more and which contains no carbonyl group. The electron-blocking layer includes a compound A having a residue after removal of at least one group of Ra1 to Ra9 from a compound represented by general formula (A) and having a glass transition point (Tg) of 200° C. or more. The photoelectric conversion element exhibits high photoelectric conversion efficiency and low dark current characteristics even after heating treatment, and can be manufactured with high productivity.

    摘要: This invention is related to novel perylene diester derivatives represented by the general formula (I) or general formula (II) as described herein. The derivatives are useful in various applications, such as luminescent dyes for optical light collection systems, fluorescence-based solar collectors, fluorescence-activated displays, and/or single-molecule spectroscopy. The invention also relates to a luminescent medium, such as a luminescent film, that can significantly enhance the solar harvesting efficiency of thin film CdS/CdTe or CIGS solar cells. The luminescent medium comprises an optically transparent polymer matrix and at least one luminescent dye that comprises a perylene diester derivative. Over 16% of an efficiency enhancement to a CdS/CdTe solar cell and over 12% of an efficiency enhancement to a CIGS solar cell can be achieved.

    摘要: An organic EL device comprises: a light-transmissive substrate; a transparent electrode; an organic emitting layer; and an opposing electrode. A light-extraction layer provided by layering a high refractive index layer adjoining the transparent electrode and a low refractive index layer adjoining the light-transmissive substrate includes recess-protrusion units each provided by a protrusion and a recess at an interface between the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer. In at least one of the recess-protrusion units, a distance from the interface between the high refractive index layer and the low refractive index layer to an interface between the transparent electrode and the high refractive index layer is equal to or more than an optical coherence length and a height of the protrusion, a width of the protrusion and a gap between the protrusion and another protrusion adjoining the protrusion across the recess is 1 μm or more.
