Abstract: Various arrangements of a nested radio frequency (RF) shield system are detailed herein. The system can include an internal RF shield that includes one or more tabs to be soldered to a printed circuit board (PCB). The system can further include an external RF shield that also includes tabs that are soldered to a PCB. When the internal RF shield and the external RF shield are installed on the PCB, protrusions of the shields nest together to block RF without requiring the shields be soldered together.

Abstract: The subject matter disclosed here relates to a mounting system that facilitates the mounting of a transceiver to an antenna structure in a cellular communication system. In general, the mounting system includes an antenna mounting bracket, a transceiver mounting bracket, and a pair of guide rails. The antenna mounting bracket is configured to attach to the antenna structure while the transceiver mounting bracket is configured to attach to the transceiver. The pair of guide rails are configured to attach to the antenna mounting bracket and include channels to receive corresponding hooked structures on the transceiver mounting bracket. Specifically, the transceiver mounting bracket includes first and second hooked structures, and guide rails include first and second channels that are considered to receive the hooked structures such that the hooked structures can slide into the first and second channels on the guide rails.

Abstract: The subject matter disclosed here relates to a mounting system that facilitates mounting of an antenna structure or other communication equipment to a tower pole in a cellular communication system. In general, the mounting system includes a mounting bracket and a plurality of bands that encircle the tower pole and pull the mounting bracket toward the tower pole. The mounting bracket includes a mounting surface, two side flanges, and a top and bottom flange. In general, the mounting surface is configured to receive communication equipment and may be configured to attach to multiple different types of antenna structures from different manufacturers. The bracket may thus offer a “universal” type mount. The two side flanges of the mounting bracket extend from the mounting surface at angles that engage with the outer surface of the tower pole.
