Abstract:
Electronic display systems include mobile units for remotely modifying a displayed image. An electronic display system can include a display surface, a processing device, a mobile unit, and an input device. The display surface can receive and display an image rendered by the processing device. The display image on the display surface can be modified through interaction of the input device and the mobile unit. The input device can sense its position relative to the mobile unit and can transmit data relating to its position to the processing device. The processing device can interpret the position data as operations on the displayed image. Accordingly, the processing device can modify the displayed image on the display surface based on interactions between the input device and the mobile unit.
Abstract:
Mounting systems can releasably secure display devices to preexisting surfaces for convenient installation and removal without external tools. A mounting system can comprise lower magnetic assemblies, upper magnetic assemblies, and a mounting sheet. The lower magnetic assemblies can be secured to a rear surface of a display device, for releasably attaching the display device to a preexisting surface. A bottom portion of the mounting sheet can be secured to the rear surface of the display device, while a top portion of the mounting sheet can remain loose from the rear surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can be provided along the loose top portion of the mounting sheet, for releasably attaching the display device to the preexisting surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can retain their connection to the preexisting surface as the display device is pulled away from the preexisting surface, until a threshold condition is met.
Abstract:
Resource allocation aware processing of requests for media resources is disclosed. A queue is defined. A media resource is allocated to the queue. A media resource request is associated with the queue.
Abstract:
Interactive systems can include various components that are packaged together and easily assemblable. An interactive system can comprise a mount, a display device, a projector, an input device, and a processing device. The display device, the projector, the input device, and the processing device can together provide an electronic display system, while the mount can carry these other various components and assist in connecting them to one another. The mount and the other components of the interactive system can be conveniently packaged and sold as group for convenient installation by one or two persons.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an in-mold labeling method, and to molded plastic articles having an in-mold label as described herein. In one embodiment of the invention, the in-mold label film comprises: (A) a polymer facestock having a printable upper surface and a lower surface, (B) a print layer having an upper surface and a lower surface wherein the lower surface of the print layer is in contact with and adhered to the upper surface of the facestock, and (C) an adhesive layer having an upper surface and a lower surface wherein the lower surface is in contact with and adhered to the upper surface of the print layer.
Abstract:
The invention comprises a collapsible panel carrying stick having a dual pair of elongated stick sections adapted to be extended into end to end relation with one another. The lowermost stick section has a projecting flange for insertion beneath a panel such as a dry wall panel. The uppermost stick section has a handle for carrying the stick with the panel thereon. The upper two stick sections are slidably retractable toward one another and the lower two sections are slidably retractable toward one another. The middle two stick sections are pivotally connected to one another to pivot toward one another with the sections retracted to collapse the stick sections into a smaller compact position for easier carrying.
