    摘要: A projector includes a polarizing illumination device which supplies light; a liquid crystal device which modulates the light; and a projection lens which projects the modulated light. The liquid crystal device is provided with an element substrate which includes a plurality of pixel electrodes and a light shielding layer; an opposing substrate includes prisms which are formed of vacant grooves which are open toward the light shielding layer; and an liquid crystal layer which is provided between the element substrate and the opposing substrate. A width of the light shielding layer falls within a range of 0.575 μm to 0.625 μm, and when an angle of incidence of the light which is incident on the liquid crystal device falls within a range of 7° to 17°, an F number of the projection lens falls within a range of 1.8 to 2.2.

    摘要: A projector to which a ceiling suspension attachment is fixed. The projector accommodates an internal device. The projector is provided with an outer case including a bottom wall that defines an outer bottom surface and an inner bottom surface of the outer case. Insert nuts are arranged on the bottom wall. Each insert nut includes a threaded hole to which a first coupling screw is fastened and a second coupling screw can be fastened. The first coupling screw couples the attachment to the outer bottom surface of the bottom wall, and the second coupling screw is fastened to the threaded hole from a side opposite to the first coupling screw. The second coupling screw is fastened at least one of the insert nuts to couple the inner device to the inner bottom surface of the bottom wall.

    摘要: An image combining apparatus, which is connected with a white-board device, and an image projecting device, includes an image outputting section for outputting the projective image data to the image projecting device, an operation section for designating any position on a projected image, an image processing section for generating projective image data for displaying a mark, a memory section for memorizing the coordinate positions of two or more standard points, and an image inputting section for receiving the scanned image data from the white-board device, wherein the image processing section obtains the coordinate positions of the certain marks when the two or more standard points have been designated, the image processing section makes correspondence with the coordinate positions of the certain marks and the coordinate positions of the two or more standard points respectively, whereby the image processing position recognizes the position of the projected image on the viewing surface.

    摘要: An overhead projection system includes an overhead projector support assembly extending outwardly from a generally vertical support surface in a generally horizontal disposition. A display screen having a display surface is mounted on the support surface beneath the projector support assembly. A projector is mounted on the projector support assembly and is aimed to project images onto the display surface of the display screen. Preferably, the projector support assembly includes a governor in the form of a damper and spring arrangement to control downward pivotal movement of the projector support assembly when a load is placed on the projector support assembly and to return the projector support assembly to its generally horizontal disposition when the load is removed.
