Abstract: Disclosed herein are a signal-multiplexing apparatus and method based on machine learning. The signal-multiplexing method based on machine learning, performed by a signal-multiplexing apparatus based on machine learning, including training a transmitted signal using a machine-learning technique, performing complex mapping to transmit the transmitted signal as multiple signals, receiving the multiple signals and regularizing the multiple signals based on a preset rule corresponding to the machine-learning technique, outputting an estimated value for the transmitted signal by training regularized multiple signals using the machine-learning technique, calculating a difference between the transmitted signal and the estimated value for the transmitted signal, and detecting the transmitted signal from an output value when the difference is less than or equal to a preset value.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method for simultaneously transmitting/receiving upstream and downstream signals using a remote PHY architecture and an apparatus for the same. The method determines whether to divide frequencies depending on whether signal interference occurs among multiple cable modems connected to a cable network, if it is determined to divide the frequencies, categorize the multiple cable modems into multiple groups so that signal interference occurs in each group, but signal interference does not occur between groups, set transmission bands for the multiple groups so that an upstream band and a downstream band of one group alternate with upstream bands and downstream bands of remaining groups by dividing the frequencies in accordance with a number of groups, and cancels, by a remote physical layer (PHY) device located at an optical network terminal of the cable network, self-interference signals for respective groups based on the transmission bands.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for removing a self-interference signal. The apparatus includes one or more processors and executable memory for storing at least one program executed by the one or more processors. The at least one program receives an upstream signal for removing self-interference, generates a downstream signal for channel estimation, replicates a self-interference signal in a time domain and a self-interference signal in a frequency domain using the upstream signal and the downstream signal, and removes the self-interference signal from the upstream signal using the replicated self-interference signal in the time domain and the replicated self-interference signal in the frequency domain.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method for transmitting and receiving compressed data and an apparatus therefor. According to the method for transmitting compressed data, a transmission apparatus for transmitting compressed data standardizes the value of an In-phase/Quadrature-phase (IQ) data sample to a preset type that is selected from among a positive number and a negative number, determines the sample type of the IQ data sample, the value of which is standardized to the preset type, based on a sample type determination rule, generates a compressed bit string based on the compression rule pertaining to the determined sample type, generates compressed data, including at least one of a reference bit corresponding to the sample type, the sign bit of the IQ data sample, and the compressed bit string, for each IQ data sample, and transmits the compressed data to a reception apparatus.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method that enable data sharing to be performed between short-range/middle-range/long-range mobile terminals by minimizing specific intervention of a user. The apparatus includes a social relationship management unit for managing social network group information formed by a user while the user utilizes a social network service. A device recognition and authentication unit identifies a mobile terminal of another party attempting to make a connection and allocates a data communication channel for data exchange, based on device information received from the mobile terminal of the other party attempting to make a connection and the social network group information. A shared data setting unit sets data to be shared with the mobile terminal of the other party between which the data communication channel has been established. A shared data transmission unit transmits the data to be shared to the mobile terminal of the other party.
