Abstract: The magnetic recording medium includes a non-magnetic support, and a magnetic layer including a ferromagnetic powder. An anisotropic magnetic field Hk is 12 kOe or more, a center line average roughness Ra of the surface of the magnetic recording medium on the magnetic layer side is 1.2 nm or less, and a ratio θr of a contact angle θ2 with respect to 1-bromonaphthalene, measured on a surface on the magnetic layer side after a 1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane immersion, to a contact angle θ1 with respect to 1-bromonaphthalene, measured on the surface on the magnetic layer side before the 1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane immersion is 0.95 or less.

Abstract: A magnetic recording medium, a composition for it, and a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus are provided. The medium includes a non-magnetic support; and a magnetic layer including a ferromagnetic powder and a binding agent on the support. The magnetic layer also includes a compound including one or more partial structures selected from partial structures represented by Formulas 1 and 2, and a polyalkyleneimine chain. The composition for the recording medium includes a ferromagnetic powder and the compound. In Formulas 1 and 2, L1 and L2 each independently represents a divalent linking group, Z1 and Z2 each independently represents a monovalent group represented by —OM or a monovalent group represented by —O−A+, M represents a hydrogen atom or an alkali metal atom, and A+ represents an ammonium cation.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a composition for forming an organic semiconductor film that makes it possible to obtain an organic semiconductor film having excellent mobility and uniformity thereof, an organic semiconductor element including an organic semiconductor film having excellent mobility and uniformity thereof, and a method for manufacturing the organic semiconductor element.The composition for forming an organic semiconductor film of the present invention contains an organic semiconductor as a component A and a polymer chemically modified some or all of the ethylenically unsaturated double bonds of a ethylenically unsaturated double bond-containing polymer, as a component B. It is preferable that the ethylenically unsaturated double bond-containing polymer is at least one kind of polymer selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer, polyisoprene, a styrene-butadiene copolymer, polybutadiene, polychloroprene, an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer, a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, and a styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer.
