    Abstract: Provided are a setting device and a camera that are capable of preventing erroneous operations with compact configurations and have high operability. A display section is provided on an upper surface of a shutter speed dial. The display section displays settable shutter speeds and an image picture of a lock button. A touch sensor detects contact with the upper surface of the shutter speed dial, and switching of the shutter speed by the shutter speed dial is locked and unlocked every time the contact is detected.

    Abstract: There is provided a digital camera that can suppress the generation of vibration caused by the operation of a shutter. One end portion of a camera body (10) forms a grip region (10A), and a drive unit (120) of a focal-plane shutter unit (110) is disposed within the range of the grip region (10A). Further, a battery (92) is disposed between an image sensor (70) and a display unit (100) at an end portion of the camera body opposite to a grip region (10A). Since the drive unit (120) of the focal-plane shutter unit (110) is disposed within the range of the grip region (10A), a portion of the camera body, which is close to the center of rotation of a shutter curtain, can be gripped with a hand at the time of handheld imaging. Accordingly, the generation of vibration can be effectively suppressed. Further, since the battery (92) is disposed at the end portion of the camera body opposite to the grip region (10A), the moment of inertia about the grip region (10A) can be increased. Accordingly, the generation of vibration can be more effectively suppressed.

    Abstract: A lens unit includes an optical system that includes at least one lens, a lens barrel that receives the optical system, and a lens mount that is provided on one end side of the lens barrel and is fastened to a body mount provided on a camera. The lens mount includes a reference surface that is in contact with the body mount; a cylindrical portion that extends to the body mount from the reference surface; a plurality of bayonet claws that are provided in a circumferential direction of the cylindrical portion and extend outward in a radial direction; a plurality of bayonet grooves that are defined by the reference surface, the cylindrical portion, and the plurality of bayonet claws and are engaged with body claws of the body mount; and an elastic member that is provided in at least one bayonet groove of the plurality of bayonet grooves, includes a contact surface to be in contact with the body claw, is provided in a rotational direction of the body claw, and applies a biasing force to the body claw in the radial direction.

    Abstract: Provided are a camera capable of preventing an erroneous operation with a compact configuration and has high operability, a setting method of the camera, and a setting program of the camera. A top surface of an operation dial is divided into a plurality of regions. An item to be changed in the setting by the operation dial is set in each divided region. Contact with each divided region is detected, and the setting change of the item set in a region where the contact is detected is validated. In a case where the operation dial is rotationally operated, a setting of the item whose setting change is validated is changed in response to an operation.
