    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a contact part including a fixed contact and a movable contact, the movable contact being displaceable in an approaching/separating direction with respect to the fixed contact; a drive part including a coil, a movable core, and a fixed core, the movable core being connected to the movable contact via an axial core, and the fixed core including a first plate member having a through hole through which the axial core is inserted and a second plate member that encapsulates the coil; and a permanent magnet polarized in a direction substantially perpendicular to the approaching/separating direction. The first plate member or the second plate member includes an extension part that extends toward the contact part, the extension part being configured to hold the permanent magnet.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay including: an electromagnet; a movable spring having a movable contact; a first terminal to which one end of the movable spring is connected; a second terminal having a fixed contact opposite to the movable contact; an actuator that rotates by excitation of the electromagnet, rotates the movable spring, and causes the movable contact to come in contact with the fixed contact or to separate from the fixed contact; a nonmagnetic card to be attached to the actuator; a plurality of magnetic members that sandwich the movable contact and the fixed contact, and apply a magnetic flux to the movable contact and the fixed contact to extend an arc; and a permanent magnet attached between the magnetic members.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes a contact that includes a fixed contact and a movable contact, a permanent magnet provided on the peripheral side of the contact, and a non-magnetic body. The movable contact is displaceable in a first direction to move toward the fixed contact and in a second direction to move away from the fixed contact. The permanent magnet has a polarity direction perpendicular to the first and second directions. The non-magnetic body faces toward the direction of a Lorentz force that acts based on the permanent magnet in a direct electric current flowing through the contact.
