    Abstract: A disconnecting device interrupts a direct current of a current path containing a hybrid switch which has a current-carrying mechanical contact system and a semiconductor switching system connected in parallel thereto. The contact system has a fixed contact and a moving contact. The moving contact is mounted on a contact bridge being coupled to a drive system moving the moving contact in a switching movement from an open position into a closed position resting against the fixed contact with a contact force. A first magnet element is mounted on the contact bridge and spaced apart from a stationary second magnet element by an air gap such that, when a current flows through the contact bridge, a magnetic field is produced in the first magnet element and the first and second magnet elements are magnetically attracted. The attraction produces a magnetic force directed in the same direction as the contact force.

The first support portion is located in a closing direction with respect to a movable contact piece. The first support portion supports a first fixed contact. The first support portion extends from the first fixed contact in a first lateral direction. The first lateral direction is one direction in a longitudinal direction of the movable contact piece. The first extending portion is connected to the first support portion. The first extending portion extends in the closing direction from the first support portion.     Abstract: An electrical relay (2) includes an electromagnetic drive system for providing bi-directional drive. The electrical relay (2) includes a first a coil (212) and a second coil (213). A current is supplied to the coils (212) and (213) in opposite directions. The two coils (212) and (213) can be used to accelerate the armature in either direction in relation to the two contacts. This can be used to drive the armature to either one of the contacts and to accelerate and decelerate the armature during a single transit. In the latter regard, the armature can be accelerated and decelerated to shorten the transit time, reduce bounce, reduce wear on the contacts, and allow for different contact material options.

    Abstract: An electromagnetic switch device for starter includes a connector assembly which has a plurality of connectors formed by stamping a conductive material and which forms a motor electric circuit and an electric circuit for supplying power to an attraction coil and a holding coil, wherein the connector assembly includes: a connector (A) connecting one of a pair of sub fixed contacts and a battery terminal; a connector (B) connecting the other one of the pair of sub fixed contacts, and one end of the attraction coil and one end of the holding coil; a connector (C) connecting the other end of the attraction coil and a motor terminal; a connector (D) connecting one end of a sub coil and an S terminal; and a resin member integrally fixing at least one pair of the connector (A), the connector (B), the connector (C), and the connector (D).
