摘要： A system and method for detecting cooperation or conflict between actors in a network made up of self-organizing sub-networks examines parameters such as performance indicators and configuration parameters to determine whether or not different actors are adjusting configuration parameters in a way that is cooperative or conflicting. When a performance indicator is observed to be outside of its expected range, an acceptable convergence range can be defined to give the actors time to adjust and return the performance indicator to its expected range of values. When a performance indicator is detected to be non-convergent, the monitor can alert an operator, or another node, so that appropriate actions can be taken.

摘要： According to the invention a core network management device (32) in a core network section (CN) of the wireless network (WN) receives a request for a tracing regarding a wireless terminal (16). The request includes an address of a destination device (26) that is to receive trace log data or data enabling the locating of the address. The core network management device (32) then automatically orders, based on the request, network elements (10, 12, 14, 20, 22, 24) of an access network section (AN) of the wireless network (WN) to perform tracing regarding the wireless terminal (16) and ensures that the trace log data is sent to the destination trace log data handling device (26). The request with the address may be sent from an access network management device (26) in the access network section (AN).

摘要： Methods and agent for correlating event notifications are provided wherein the agent comprises an interface receiving an event notification, a Peer Agent Notification Category List (PANCL) storing peer agent notification categories of event notifications that other agents are interested in receiving from the agent, and a notifications processing engine that determines if the event notification matches the peer agent notification categories of the PANCL. Upon positive determination the first event notification is sent at least to a second agent associated with the matched peer agent notification category of the PANCL. In another aspect, the agent comprises a manager notifications log storing identities of event notifications sent from the agent to the manager and a notifications processing engine that determines if a received peer agent event notification matches any event notifications of the log. Upon positive determination, the engine correlates the peer agent event notification with the event notification of the log.

摘要： Provided are methods for handling reports on lost connections in a terminal device which is capable of being in communication connection with a plurality of network access nodes, wherein the terminal device generates, after having lost connection to a (first) network access node, a report on the loss of connection and, upon or after reconnecting of the terminal device with the same or a different network access node, sends the report on the loss of connection to the network access node. The network access node receiving a report on loss of connection from a terminal device, forwards said report to a central server and/or to a network access node to which the terminal device was connected before. Further provided are a terminal device comprising a receiver and a transmitter and being adapted to connect to an access node of a network, particularly of a wireless, e.g. a cellular radio network, said terminal device further comprising a report generator for generating a report on a loss of connection, wherein said transmitter is adapted to send said report to an access node upon or after reconnecting, and a network access node, particularly a network access node of a wireless, e.g. a cellular radio network, comprising a receiver and a transmitter and being adapted to be connected by a terminal device, wherein the receiver is adapted to receive reports on a loss of connection from a terminal device, and wherein the transmitter is adapted to forward or send a received report to a central server or to a different access node, particularly to an access node to which the terminal was connected before a loss of connection.

Organization of said modules and information contained in said modules are based on a pre-determined network management schema, whereby said network nodes (24) and said network links are managed by accessing and manipulating said modules. The network management schema is modified by reducing the amount of information in said modules. Then, the modified network management schema is used for managing said communication network system and thereby facilitating communication network system management.
