Abstract:
A bracket for mounting a drawer guide in a furniture article includes a plate member and one or more spring flanges disposed on the top surface of the plate member near the front end of the plate member to engage the drawer guide. One or more fasteners extends from the bottom surface of the plate member for attaching the bracket to the furniture article. A stop member extends from the top surface of the plate member and is disposed between the spring flanges to be received in an opening formed in a tongue portion of the drawer guide.
Abstract:
A laterally adjustable mounting bracket for use on a desk or cabinet drawer and with a drawer guide having a tongue portion, the bracket including a base supporting a pair of opposing retaining flanges configured to cooperatively receive a drawer guide tongue portion for lateral adjustment of the drawer with respect to the desk or cabinet. An insert having a stop component limiting lateral movement of the drawer guide tongue portion and at least one support component is cooperatively received within at least one aperture in the base so that the support component extends through the base to support the base on the desk or cabinet.
Abstract:
An improvement in a configured hinge having a hinge cup for mounting on a surface provided with a hinge cup bore hole comprising a spacer having a pre-selected thickness and a periphery substantially conforming to the configuration of the hinge cup for mounting beneath the hinge cup flange near the bore hole to compensate for the less than standard depth of the bore hole.
Abstract:
An apparatus includes an enclosure including one or more ultraviolet lights configured to kill germs, the enclosure including a drawer for placing items into and removing items from the enclosure, wherein the enclosure is configured for insertion into an existing cabinet. The apparatus can include an adjustable width bracket, wherein the adjustable width bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against side surfaces within the existing cabinet. The apparatus can also include an adjustable depth bracket, wherein the adjustable depth bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against a back surface within the existing cabinet. The apparatus can also include a bottom bracket, wherein the bottom bracket allows the enclosure to be secured against a bottom surface of the existing surface. In one example, the enclosure is connected to an air filtration system.
Abstract:
This invention relates to hinges for mounting a door on a furniture article frame. The hinges include at least a hinge cup member adapted to be affixed to the furniture door, a top hinge arm segment pivotably connected to the hinge cup member and comprising a top elongated aperture and two tabs, and an L-shaped hinge arm segment comprising at least a circular aperture, a center hole and two grooves. A base hinge arm segment comprising an elongated center hole, a circular aperture and an upper flange may also be used with the top hinge arm segment and the L-shaped hinge arm segment to allow adjustments to be made in a third direction. In some embodiments, turning a cam or eccentric screw allows adjustments to be made horizontally from side-to-side so that the desired spacing of the door from opposite sides of the door opening can be set. In some embodiments, turning a cam or eccentric screw allows adjustments to be made horizontally in-and-out so that the desired alignment of the door with the front face of the furniture article frame can be set. Finally, in some embodiments, vertical adjustments can also be made by loosening a fastening screw so that the desired spacing from the top and bottom of the door opening can be set.
Abstract:
A drawer guide assembly for a movable structure such as a drawer in a furniture article, and more particularly to a new and improved drawer guide assembly which is concealed from view and allows for a wider and deeper drawer. The drawer guide assembly contains mirror image assemblies, each comprising a guide rail mountable to the interior of a furniture article in a generally horizontally disposed position and a pull-out rail mountable to the drawer, or other movable structure, and movable within the guide rail. Both the guide and pull-out rails are provided with one or more rotatable rollers mounted in fixed positions and upper and/or lower ledges which are in rolling contact with complementary rotatable rollers, thus enabling forward and rearward horizontal movement of the pull-out rail and carried structure on the fixed guide rail.
Abstract:
A hinge for mounting a door on a furniture article frame includes a first hinge member adapted to be affixed to the furniture door and a first hinge arm segment pivoted to the first hinge member and having a first adjustment plate with an aperture and a second hinge member having a second hinge arm segment having a second adjustment plate with an aperture. Turning an adjustment screw connecting the adjustment plates to one another causes the second hinge arm segment to move relative to the first hinge arm segment in a direction perpendicular to the pivot axis and parallel to the door in a closed position thereof. A base plate adapted to be affixed to the furniture article frame by a fastening screw supports a movable plate formed on the second hinge member. Turning an eccentric mounted in the base plate causes the movable plate to be displaced on the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the pivot axis and perpendicular to the door in a closed position thereof.
Abstract:
A mounting plate for a furniture hinge includes a hinge plate which is adapted to be pivotably connected to a hinge component, such as a hinge cup, a flange depending from one of the opposing edges of the hinge plate, and at least one, and preferably two fastener openings formed in the flange. The flange forms substantially a 90 degree angle with the hinge plate and depends a distance from the hinge plate that is at least as great as, or equal to, or greater than the width of the hinge plate. The fastener openings are disposed nearer to the lower edge of the flange than the upper edge.
Abstract:
The invention is a cabinet hinge that has a hinge arm or hinge fastened on a hinge cup; the hinge arm, that can be adjusted by means of an adjusting plate, can be connected to a fastening baseplate on the cabinet/furniture, and has a catch connection provided in order to make this connection.According to the invention the adjusting plate is a one piece, partially resilient snap-on component that on one side has hook-shaped shanks that link with the baseplate and on the other side has shanks that engage into corresponding catch nose projections of the baseplate when pressure is placed on the adjusting plate by a suitable means forces sliding motion of the adjusting plate relative to the baseplate. Then the resilient component of the adjusting plate is secured against further shifting.
