Abstract:
A linear gauging head, or cartridge head, comprises a casing (1), a spindle (10) movable with respect to the casing along a longitudinal axis, a feeler (12) coupled to a first end of the spindle and a differential position transducer with windings (13, 14, 15), fixed with respect to casing (1), and a core (16) coupled to a second end of spindle (10). The spindle is guided by recirculating ball bushings (18, 19) with rolling elements (29) that cooperate with the spindle and thus allow its displacement with respect to the casing.
Abstract:
An apparatus for checking features of workpieces with rotational symmetry defining a geometrical axis, which includes a base, rest devices fixed to the base for supporting the workpiece with the geometrical axis horizontally arranged, and a support structure coupled to the base for rotation about a horizontal axis. A counterweight and sensor are coupled to the support structure and movable with the support structure from a rest position, allowing loading of the workpiece to be checked onto the rest devices to a working position where the sensor is brought into cooperation with the workpiece. The axis of rotation of the support structure is arranged below the axis of the workpiece, in correspondence to a vertical geometrical plane passing through the workpiece geometric axis when the workpiece is positioned on the rest devices.
Abstract:
Gauge for checking linear dimensions of mechanical pieces comprising a support, two arms movable with respect to the support, two feelers respectively fixed to the arms for contacting the piece to be checked and a position transducer having two mutually movable elements respectively fixed to the movable arms. Each feeler is fixed to the relevant movable arm by screw, nut-screw coupling and between the screw and the nut-screw there is arranged a thread insert, having at least one polygonal coil, which permits adjustment of the position of the feeler, while assuring a stable adjustment.
Abstract:
A gauging head for checking linear dimensions of mechanical pieces comprising a single member including a movable arm, a support for the movable arm, and a fulcrum for pivoting movements of the arm with respect to the support. The member also defines seats for an inductive transducer coupled to the arm and the support, the transducer being sealed by a resilient gasket.
Abstract:
A manual plug comparator for verifying the diameter of holes of mechanical parts, having a central support plate which supports a movable measurement unit, a protective and centering casing and a handle. The movable measurement unit comprises two movable arms each bearing a feeler, which feelers come into contact with the part to be checked. An electric cord terminating in a connector makes it possible to connect a position transducer which notes the position of the movable arms to an electrical supply, detection and indication group. A cord-holder device is fastened to one end of the handle in a removable manner. The handle has an opening which, after the removal of the cord-holder device and the detachment of the handle from the support plate, makes it possible completely to remove the handle from the cord and the connector.
Abstract:
A gauge for checking linear sizes of mechanical parts including a handle, a nose-piece, an integral body defining two movable arms and fulcrum devices for rotational displacements of the arms, and a support plate coupled to the handle, the nose-piece and the integral body. The support plate has the form of a ring plate with two parts protruding towards the interior for defining two reference surfaces adapted to limit the opening stroke of the movable arm.
Abstract:
A gauge for checking sizes of mechanical parts, particularly a plug gauge having a support, two measuring arms movable with respect to the support and a transducer for providing a signal responsive to the mutual position of the measuring arms. The measuring arms have tubular end sections defining transversal holes for housing stems carrying feelers for contacting the surface of the part to be checked. Screws coupled with threaded holes axially obtained in the tubular end sections adjustably lock the stems.
Abstract:
A plug gauge (1) includes a support and protection system that defines a longitudinal axis with a handle (2) closed by a cap (13) that includes electronic devices for the wireless transmission of electrical signals representative of a dimension to be checked, and a probe (6) including a measuring armset coupled with a transducer for generating electrical signals. The probe is connected to the cap of the handle by means of an interface element (8) that includes mechanical references to prevent rotations of the probe with respect to the handle about the longitudinal axis.

Abstract:
Gauging head and apparatus for the linear dimension checking of mechanical pieces comprising an integral element (1) that defined an arm (5) carrying a feeler (25), a reference portion (3), and a fulcrum (13) that enables rotations of arm (5) with respect to the reference portion (3), and a differential transformer position transducer with a cylindrical shaped casing (35; 82), carrying the windings (34; 83), fixed to the reference portion (3), and a ferromagnetic core (32; 84) movable together with the arm (5). The integral element (1) is locked in an adjustable way to a support (67), by means of the cylindrical casing (35; 82). The integral fulcrum is achieved by work hardening the material and subsequently grinding it.
