Systems and methods associated with discussion resource recommendation are disclosed. One example method may be embodied as computer-executable instructions stored on a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The instructions may cause a computer to construct a resource network that links members of asset of online discussion resources. The online discussion resources may be linked based on user participation overlap between members of the set of discussion resources. The instructions may also cause the computer to generate content similarity scores that measure content overlap for pairs of discussion resources. The instructions may also cause the computer to generate network relevancy scores for the pairs of discussion resources based on the resource network. The instructions may also cause the computer to recommend, based on the content similarity scores and the network relevancy scores, a related discussion resource to a user when the user accesses a primary discussion resource.

In one implementation, a processor determines content segments based on user data related to annotations of the content. The processor recommends at least one of the content segments based on the relative value of the content segment to the other content segments. For example, the value of a content segment may be determined based on the annotations associated with the content segment.

A deep learning method employs a neural network having three sub-nets to classify and retrieve the most similar 3D model of an object, given a rough 3D model or scanned images. The most similar 3D model is present in a database and can be retrieved to use directly or as a reference to redesign the 3D model. The three sub-nets of the neural network include one dealing with object images and the other two dealing with voxel representations. Majority vote is used instead of view pooling to classify the object. A feature map and a list of top N most similar well-designed 3D models are also provided.

Each content field of the plurality of content fields includes a value that represents an unstructured marking linked to a content data collection. Student profiles are generated by assigning a student identification number to each of the plurality of content fields.
